Just in time for dinner

                 _Time skip two hours later_
While passing the floor of the living room Kara hears the distant hum of a chopper. "Mom,dad Lori is almost here!" Kara yells up the stairs. By the time her parents made it downstairs the chopper was already making its landing in the middle of the street. Kara watches from the living room window hoping there weren't any rabids attracted to the noise. Seeing Lori coming over followed by what appeared to be her family's guards,some still climbing out of the now silent chopper. Kara's parents come to meet them halfway with their bags.Lori already reaching the front door with Kara watching as the bags were loaded onto the helicopter.But as they were loading a rabid cat takes notice of them and yowls alerting all the other rabids in the area and with more rabid cats they leap upon the soldiers who were caught by surprise. Unfortunately the other rabid animals were arriving in time for a rabid dog to attack Michael,leaping onto his back and sinking it's teeth into his shoulder before he can react. Eva upon seeing this attempts to rip the manic dog off him only for a squirrel to leap onto her face. She turns in a half circle when a whole horde to leap upon her and rip into her. Lori horrified by what she is witnessing tries to hold Kara back from attempting to help,but her grip was feeble and Kara got free and ran to her mother's side picking up a branch to smack the swarm off of her mother,only for them to take notice of her and leap upon her and her mother at once before she could strike again. From a distance the pilot screams at Lori to get into the chopper and attempts to take off once she's inside bu as they were barely above the houses rabid birds swarmed the helicopter,many pecking at the glass trying to get in. As the glass breaks and the birds swoop in on the pilot,Lori sits back,takes a deep breath closing her eyes as the helicopter crashes glass and shrapnel biting her all over she realized that she never had the chance to eat the sushi dinner waiting for her at home.
