"This all feels flash back-y." Alice said as we walked.

Elliot, Oz, Alice and I had gone out first to look for Vincent. Gabe, Luke, Jack, Gabriel, Sadie and Emily were back at the hotel.

"Yeah. It feels like we're looking for your siblings all over again." Oz said to me.

"As I told Elliot, we kind of are. We're just looking for one instead of all of them." I frowned and stood up on my tip-toes, looking over heads. "Has anyone seen any sign of Vincent?"

"No." Oz and Elliot said.

"We need someone who can track someone by sense of smell." Alice said.

"While that'd help, we don't have anyone or anything like that at our disposal." I mumbled.

"We actually do." Oz said. "You're just not speaking to him at the moment."

"As I said," I turned to look at him, "Nothing at out disposal."

He just kind of huffed and looked away.

"I think it's time to head back." Elliot said. "We'll send Gabe, Luke and Jack out to look."

"I'll keep looking." I said.

They all looked hesitant. I didn't understand why. Then I suddenly remembered: When we were first looking for Gabe and the others, I mauled someone behind a bar. They were scared it was gonna happen again. They went to great lengths to cover that up.

"Guys, it won't happen again. I'm more in control of myself. Tell Gabe, Luke and Jack to meet me at..." I looked around, "...That bar. I'll be inside there."

I walked away, leaving them where they stood.

~...~

I'd looked around but haven't found any sign of Vincent. I was currently sitting at the bar. I had just finished ordering a water when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

I was about to turn around when I heard him.

"Don't move." Vincent said, pressing a blade to the middle of my back. "You'e gonna follow my orders or get impaled."

I gritted my teeth. "What do you want?"

"I want you to get up and walk out of this bar. Then I'll take you to your sister."

He had a smile in his voice. I didn't trust it, but I did what he wanted anyway to avoid making a scene in the middle of the bar.

"I'm surprised you don't want me to do more." I said as I stood up and started walking towards the door.

"Is that a challenge?"

"No, just an observation."

By now, we were outside. I was starting to get nervous. Where was Gabe, Luke and Jack?

He started going in the opposite direction of the hotel.

"You look worried. Hoping for Gabe to come rescue you?" Vincent asked.

I didn't answer. I only got more nervous.

"C'mon, guys..." I mumbled under my breath.

"Vincent!"

We turned around. "Ah, Gabe! It's so nice to see you again." Vincent said.

"Let go of my sister, Vincent." Gabe said.

"Y'know, I don't think I will." He teased and pulled me closer to him. I cringed.

"Vince...You don't have to do this." Gabe reasoned.

"Don't reason with him!" I yelled, looking at Gabe incredulously.

"Yes, Gabe, Don't reason with me. You should know by now that it doesn't work."

Jack and Luke drew weapons. Vincent saw this and slackened his grip on me.

"Well, this is just boring me. You're no fun anymore, Gabe. Guess the fun will have to wait till later, huh?" When he didn't get an answer, Vincent sighed. "Fine."

He shoved me towards Gabe, Luke and Jack. Once I regained my footing, I turned, whipping my knife out, ready to fight Vincent, but he was gone.

"Dammit..." I muttered and turned back towards the boys. "Well, Gabe. I hope you got his scent. Cause you're tracking him the rest of the way to South Dakota."
