I don't know what happened, but the next thing I knew, Gabe was on the floor, holding his face and I was being held back by Gabriel while screaming.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?! YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE! WERE YOU JUST GONNA WAIT TILL I FOUND OUT?! I SHOULD KILL YOU!!"

I was dragged, kicking and screaming to my room. Gabriel sat me down on my bed and tried to get me to calm down.

"I can't believe him! Why wouldn't he tell me?"

"I dunno, Lexie. Maybe it was for your best interest. We all know what Vincent did to you. Maybe he was worried you'd go off on a rampage." Gabriel reasoned.

I glared at my hands. "That's not good enough."

"If it's that reason, then yes, it is. If you'd known it was Vincent, you wouldn't be sleeping until we found Lacie." He said.

"Of course not!" I yelled. "I know what he's doing to her, Gabriel! He's beating her!" My throat closed up with the threat of tears. "We need to find her, Gabriel, before it's too late."

"We will. Now, c'mon. Luke found your sword so you can train."

I nodded then followed Gabriel downstairs to the backyard.

~...~

"You ready?" Luke asked.

I nodded and got into my stance. Crouched to the ground, one hand on the ground, the other holding my sword.

"We're gonna bring everything together this time, Lexie, since we're looking for Lacie tomorrow."

This was news to me, but I nodded anyway.

Luke came at me, his sword raised. I kicked him in the gut and he fell to the ground with a grunt. Gabe attacked me from behind. I flipped him over me and froze him to the ground, a little rougher than necessary.

Emily attacked me with her daggers and ended up pinning me against a tree with her daggers against my sword. I grunted as I pushed her away. I ended up pinning her to a different tree and wrapped lighting around her waist.

Jack and Luke attacked me. Jack with vines, Luke with his sword. I made Jack hallucinate, making him believe he was on fire. I smacked Luke's sword out of his hand with a water whip then trapped him in a bubble of water with an air pocket around his head.

Gabriel attacked me next with fire. I smirked and put it out with water then tripped him with lightning when he came running towards me. When he fell to the ground, I made cuffs of darkness around his ankles and wrists. He looked up and gave me a look of approval.

I turned just in time to see Sadie hurl a boulder at me. I leaped in the air at the same time my wings came out and hovered there as the boulder skimmed my feet. I hurled black fire at Sadie then froze her to the ground.

I was knocked out of the air when Alice attacked me. I hit the ground with her on top of me, then flipped her off me. She landed on her feet then hurled a ball of fire at me. I flew back and hit the house with a cry of pain, then fell to the ground. I slowly got up as she walked toward me. I knew she wasn't expecting what I was about to do. I hurled a combination of all three elements at her. Darkness, water, and lightning all wrapped around each other as they hit her. She flew back and hit the ground. She realized I'd frozen her to the ground when she tried to get up.

I looked around me, realizing then that I'd gotten through a training session without having an episode. I made all the traps go away and everyone stood up, but they didn't come near me. That was when I noticed my marks were glowing. Then suddenly, my body was ablaze with white-hot pain. I screamed and fell to the ground, writhing.
