Part 28

Error POV
I picked the glass up and wrapped my bloodied hand in strings. Inky was luckily watching a show and didn't hear.
Lately she hasn't been as focused. She's so out of it. In her own little world.
It scares me.
  "Babe, I'm goin out." I said.
  She jumped. I rushed to her.
  "W-why?" She asked timidly.
  I held her.
  "Getting your meds." I said.
  "...you think I'm crazy..."
  "No, baby, I don't. I just want you to be happy again."
  I kissed her. She kissed back.
  "I'll be back soon." I whispered.
  She begged to come with me. Truth be told I'm getting her medicine then smoking shortly. I know she hates it. I do to. But it calms me down.
  I left. I got the meds and searched for the pack in my pocket.
  ...
  Aaaaand she took it. I went back home. She was not happy.
  Cigarette pack in hand, she was crying in pain on the floor. I picked her up. She hugged me tightly.
  I asked what'd happened. She said another burst happened.
  Odd. Those haven't happened since I killed Nightmare and Dream.
  She was still mad I had cigarettes. I apologized but she said,
  "Strike. Two."

Ink POV
  Later we went to Outertale. I'd almost forgotten what happened. I looked to Error. He was silently staring off into the world.
  I laid my head on his shoulder. He put his arm around me and pulled me closer to him. I smiled. He smiled back.
  "It's nice out here." He said.
  I nodded.
  "There's...something I wanna-"
  I winced in pain. He got scared and held me closer.
  "Error...s-someone's hurting the aus..."
  He helped me to stand and I opened a portal. Storyswap? Blueberry was already there.
  Even with what he did it's different with Dream not here. I was comforted by the fact that Error was with us now.
  We were shocked to see Nightmare and Shattered Dream. They looked...scary.
  I had a fit of images go through my mind of what's happened.
  I fell to the ground shaking. I could feel hot tears of fear and anger roll down my cheeks and hit the ground below me.
  Someone tried to touch me. I screamed and knocked them back.
  I can't see who it is.
  All I can see is that cold and grim cell. My bloody arms and hands.
  I could almost hear Shattered Dream whispering 'it's over now.' To me when he tried to choke me.
  A overwhelming feeling of nausea hit me. I puked. Black ink mind you. I don't actually like have real puke it's-its just black ink.
  I could see now. I was still shaking but I could see.
  Error and Blue and stopped them. Error was now over me. Scared to touch me. Shit. I hit him didn't I...?
  "I...I'm sorry..." I said.
  He hugged me.
  "It's ok baby. I'm here. You're safe." He said calmly and quietly. 
  "Thank you..."
  He kissed my cheek and took me home.
