it was nearing 4, so yerim decided it's time to go home. she has upcoming quizzes on the morning period, and she didn't studied them. "you should've studied instead of going out with me." her gaze was straight, as if she never heard me saying anything. "that would be a waste of time." she scoffed. "like, if you want to hang out with me, you can but in some other time." she looks at me, "i wish i could hang out with you in some other time, but no, there's no much time left." she said straight to my face. i was puzzled at what she said, maybe she'll get busy in the following days. i dropped of the topic, then we were heading towards our subdivision. i stopped the car near yerim's front yard, then we both got out slowly.

"i just want to say thank you, for bringing me out of my comfort zone." i sincerely said, she was standing before me, she has to look up a bit since i was taller than her. "you're very much welcome," she holds both of my hands. "i'm happy." then she smiled, i believed that smile. "i'm so happy too, i never imagined going out with you, really." she chuckles, "it's getting late, we both gotta go and i think my back aches, it missed the soft mattress so," her voice trailed off. "so, goodnight and... goodbye!" she said while waving her hands. "goodnight too, and goodbye." i copied her actions, then we laughed. she stopped waving then turned around with her heels. i was still standing there, with my hands waving at her back. i was about to turn away, when yerim rushed to me and hugged me real tight. "i will miss you," she said. "and hanging out with you too." she added. "you can hang out with me anytime, no need to worry." i patted her back, then she pulled away. for the last time, she smiled. then i watched her climbing her way to her room. before entering her window, she gave me a hush sign, and i zipped my mouth, then we both chuckled.

i turned around, and saw dad's car. then suddenly, everything happened had just registered in my head. the pranks then to hugging yerim, i had to bite my bottom lip to suppress my happiness. "we. just. hung. out. together." i took a fistful of my hair then started to jump in my place. i heaved a sigh, then kicked the tires. i felt tiredness run throughout my system, so i went in the car and parked it. just like what yerim did, i climbed up to my window. i removed my string bag and tossed it somewhere and i didn't bother to change my clothes because i! am! really! tired!

"shit." i murmured, i moan in delight when my back finally touches my sweet and lovely bed. i sighed and giggled at the thought that yerim just took me out on an all nighter that i enjoyed. my eyes were already closing and i finally let fatigue take over my system.

"hey." i fluttered my eyes open, then the first thing i saw was mom's smile. "hah, you really had a good sleep, but you have to get up because you'll be late." she ruffled my hair like the usual, then she left the room. i sloppily sat on my bed, still feeling tired. i went to my string bag that perfectly landed on my bean bag. once i opened it, i was confused when the camera that we used last night was inside.

last night.

memories flashed through my brain, and i smiled. but my smile faded away, realizing that yerim maybe had left this. i took it out along with the case of my glasses, i sat on my swivel chair then went to my computer. i pushed the on button of the cam, then the photo came into view. i noticed a paper flew out of my bag, so i got up to get it, then realized it was a letter from yerim.

print the pictures out, and pass it on your phone. you can use that as a blackmail, so they can't beat the hell out of you.

- yr.

"oh, right." she clearly had a point, so i immediately did what i have to do. mom knocked again on my door, but i just can't leave my computer. i shouted an "i'll be down in a minute!" then my gaze back to the screen. after some minutes that felt like eternity, the pictures were printed out and they were on my phone. "hell yeah." i giggled then put them inside my school bag, including the camera.

mom kissed my cheek, "have fun at school!" i heard her yell inside her minivan as i waved my hand without looking at her. i was beyond excited and thrilled, i have a lot of things to tell yerim. i was peacefully walking down the halls when someone aggressively pinned me to the lockers. "you stupid bitch!" instead of being scared and nervous, i let out a cocky smirk. "it's you and yerim! i'm not dumb!" taehyung was almost spitting on my face, but it's my first time not being scared with anybody at the moment. not even kim taehyung can scare my brave blood.

"punch me, or i'll post this everywhere." i pushed the screen of my phone into his face. he stared at it and growled. "delete." he says, but i laughed. "and who are you to tell me what to do? listen, you being the smartest and fluent in english doesn't make you superior at all, we're both humans and we share the same country, air and school as well. don't act like we must kneel before you as you walk down the halls. you're just as stupid as us, cry like we do, and get bullied like you do to us, stupid motherfucking dick-sucker asshole." i said in a low voice, laced with poison. for the first time, taehyung's eyes showed embarassment and nervousness. he was a scaredy cat like me, but he was smart enough to overcome it and act like tough.

he gently let go of me, looks like my collar needs to get ironed again. he stared at me with his aggressive eyes that burns like hell, like a demon he is before storming his way out then passed by his team and jungkook.

i was surprised with myself, honestly. it was all yerim. she taught me to be like this. she taught me to be tough and rough. if it wasn't her, then maybe i am choking with my own blood early in the morning. it was all because of kim yerim.

"jesus, what was that?" jisoo's voiced was heard behind the door of my locker. i slammed it close and faced jisoo, "teaching a kim his lesson." she blinked. "holy motherfucking shit, since when did you became that brave to scare him away?" she asked dramatically. "LOML." jisoo looked at me weirdly, "the fuck you saying dude? is that some kind of a band name?" i giggled and ignored her as the bell rang.

i! slept! in! class!

weird. i never tried to sleep in class, i hate it. but this time, i missed my language because i was really, really tired. some said my eyes were tinted with rose red, so they asked if i took cocaine and i said no. what the fuck are these pips thinking?

i went to the comfort room, removed my glasses and placed my hands under the hand activated faucet. the cold water hits my skin, making me sigh, then splashed it all over my face. i should've be tired, i still have to meet yerim. i went out after wiping my face. i head home with a sulky face. i didn't saw yerim today. she normally don't skip classes, despite of her being a badass. my mind is almost exploding with the things i want to tell her, thank her and to discuss with her, but she wasn't here.

a while ago, before entering my last subject, i peeked through the door of yerim's last subject which is government. i was disappointed, her presence is missing, and it was only her mere chair sitting across their room. i thought of it— maybe she got tired, or worse, got sick. anyways, i didn't paid much attention to it, she has her reasons though.
