I Hate Seeing My Girl In Pain

Waking Up

"Hey Izz, it's me Jake. I hope you feel better soon, as it was not fun seeing you like this today and yesterday. I was so worried about you, you literally have no idea how terrified I was to see you collapse into my arms, my heart was beating fast. I hate seeing my girl in pain." I whispered into her ear but I jumped back when I said 'my girl', I have a little crush on her but I think it's growing now after what I experienced what happened with Izzy. "Izz, after what happened today. I'm going to make sure that I take care of you while you're recovering. If you need me then I'm here for you." I exclaimed. About twenty minutes later, while I was drawing on her hand with my thumb, I felt her squeeze my hand. Wait, I think she's waking up. I turned around to her, while holding her hand, tight. I saw her eyes opening slowly, she looked at me, first.

Izzy's POV

"Jake...? What happened? Where am I?" I asked Jake, as I looked all over the room, to find a sliding door with beds outside of the room and loads of curtain. He looked like he was glad to see me.

"Izz! You're okay and awake! You're in the hospital." Jake exclaimed, as he was holding my hand.

"What happened to me?" I asked him, as I started to feel tears come to my eyes. No Izzy, stay strong, it's not like it was a horrible accident.

"Well remember yesterday when you had a very sharp pain in the right side of your lower stomach and you were sick all day long?" Jake asked me, as I tried to think back, yes I can remember as I was throwing up so much and that pain was a pain that you couldn't describe. Basically I was in agony.

"Yeah..."

"Well...while we were on a treasure hunt, you became very sick and the pain started to act up but you wouldn't tell us and you fell unconscious as I caught you in my arms. We had to rush you to the hospital and you ended up getting rushed into surgery." Jake explained to me, as he leaned over and started to stroke my face. I felt tears coming out of my eyes. I had surgery? That terrifies me as I was getting cut up while being unconscious. I know that's normal for surgery but still, I could've died...

"I had surgery...?" My voice cracked as I asked him, as I felt tears coming down my face. He nodded while having a frown on his face.

"Yeah...you had appendicitis, your appendix was about to burst. That's why you were in so much pain." Jake says, softly as he squeezed my hand gently. He let go of my hand but gently bent down and gently hugged me maybe because of my stitches in my stomach. Great, now another scar to form on my body, the other place on my body that has a scar is my big toe on my right foot. A long story. I began to cry into his shoulder.

"Izz, you were so lucky to have us around when you fainted." Jake whispered, as he hugged me a bit more into him.

"I know..." I whispered, as I wrapped my arms around him even more. I wish I could stay in his arms forever.

Cubby's POV

Me and Skully were walking around the hospital as I needed to get something to drink and to give Jake and Izzy some alone time. As we had to rush Izzy to the hospital since she fainted due to having appendicitis, lucky enough, Jake caught her in his arms, so she won't have any head injuries as she would've banged her head on the ground, if she hit the ground. I didn't know that Izzy was still feeling ill until Jake told us when she was fainted. Jake knew that she was still ill as he even tried to question her if she was still ill but knowing Izzy being stubborn, she wouldn't admit that she's still ill. Jake just knows her too well. I could see in his eyes that he was extremely worried for Izzy especially when she was in the surgery. I was terrified as I see Izzy as my older sister, and to see her unconscious in Jake's arms and then in the gurney. It must've been scary for Jake as Izzy fainted right into his arms, you could hear the worry and scared tone in his voice; loud and clear.
