The battle which would be known as the Battle of the Knife due to the location.The battle formation planned was a simple yet effective checker board formation which deployed defensive Vale troops as the first line backed up by Crannogmen skirmishers,a second and third line of heavy shock offensive troops as the final fist.

The Knights Manderly brought were good defenders as they held the mountain clans horsemen at bay.As the battle began,it started well but the Baratheon line formation penetrated the first line.Gendry and Lanna did as they were told and held the line without gaining but giving ground and tired the enemy down.

"Gendry and Lanna,you will be present with the Vale troops to hold your ground and not gain ground" Arya pointed to the map where the river stream present.Other were puzzled with her way if thinking,"Your Grace,why would we be on defensive where can just rip them apart with Nymeria and the wolf pack." Stated a puzzled Wyman Manderly.

"Well if we continued a mass offensive tactic,Stannis can just have an orderly retreat to Winterfell where we have to siege the Castle.We know how we need more than 25 000 men to siege that Castle and Gods know that with Winter here,we need decisive victories not heroic ones but with most enemies surviving to withdraw." She finished to a nod of approval from Ser Brynden.

"Lanna please hand me the sigil pieces here." Lanna brought it over.Arya brought it over and decided to arrange them in order,the Arryn sigil for the Vale troops in the first line,Reed sigil on the flanks of the first line,Stark sigil for the heavy eastern troops accompanied by Manderly foot in the second and third line and Manderly sigil for the Knights in the flanks.

The Nymeria piece in the forests representing the hidden dagger,"Here my Lords are the pieces,our forces will be arranged to have maximum defensive capabilities and space to move around.Gendry and Lanna will hold the first line and to pull back when the horn is sounded behind cover fire Lord Reed's skirmishers,then Ser Bryden and I will lead the charge of the reserves with Lord Reed flanking cutting their sides of retreat."

"Lord Manderly,the Knights will hold the Clansmen at bay while Nymeria will flank them when that is finish Nymeria will flank the enemy troops and kill them all." She finished to the Lords clapping in approval.

As the battle is about to start,Arya class herself in Stark armor with her spear,sword and shield.She prays before she begins her speech to the men."Men! You and I have fought countless times in the Riverlands,The Vale,The Westerlands and now here in the North.We today either win and earn eternal victory of die trying,now tell me are you ready?!?!?" She spoke to a roar of men.

So began the battle as both sides clash with the cavalry fighting the clansmen and the first line holding well in place.Gendry and Lanna were the right people to employ as they understood the strategy and were more loyal to her,from her vantage point she sees the carnage of battle and by her warging Nymeria and the Wolf Pack are still positioning.As she returns back from warging,Stannis charges with his personal guard.

"Blow the horn!" Arya commanded and the Ser Brynden blew it to signal the retreat and positioning of the Wolfpack.The first line withdrew slowly and in order while under cover fire from the Crannogmen.As the first line succeeds in retreating,she commits the second and third line to battle with the Ser Brynden helping her."CHARGE!!" She roars her command and the heavy shock hitters charged causing a commotion among Stannis's men who immediately put up a shield wall to counteract it.

As the fight ensues,she kills men left and right with her spear and shield while the sword acts as reserve weapon and let's not forget the several daggers with her.As she slashes,evade and strikes and repeat she faces Stannis in the middle of the battlefield before she could think Stannis attacks with a swift slash followed by minutes of strikes,defending then parrying.As they were fighting,both armies were still clashing with the Baratheon men holding well,as she lunge at Stannis with her spear she misses which costs her the spear itself as Stannis yanks it away from her by pulling at its end.
