A FEW WEEKS had gone by since (Name) had first seen Albert. She wanted to see him again, maybe get to know him a little more. Her thoughts were then interrupted by a female yelling her name.
(Name) looked around to see where they yell had come from. She brushed it off, thinking it was probably in her head. She then proceeded to take a picture of the daisies.
The moment she snapped the shot, her friend Aurelia snuck up behind her trying to scare (Name). Aurelia shook her shoulders, making (Name) jump at the sudden movement.
"Oh god, Aure. You scared me!" (Name) was a bit ticked off, Aure ruined the perfect moment to take the picture of the trees and other plant life.
"I'm sorry," Aurelia scratched the back of her neck as she apologized. "I saw you and wanted to surprise you!" (Name) looked confused as to why she would want to surprise her.
"Surprise! I got you your favorite dessert!" Aurelia took out a box that was filled with (Favorite Pastries). (Name's) eyes widened at the sight of her favorite dessert.
The scent of the pastries smelt absolutely scrumptious. (Name) almost drooled at the thought of how they would taste in her mouth. She quickly snapped out of her thoughts, regaining her posture.
"Ah, thank you so much, Aurelia! I love you so much." The (Hair Colour) haired female enveloped her friend in a tight embrace. "It's no problem, I saw this small bakery. Their donuts were delicious. I saw your favorite pastries and bought some for you!"
(Name) loves her friend, she's been there for her since they were little. They have 20-year history together.
"I have to get going now, I have to go see my mom!" The red-headed female waved at her and walked off, her figure appearing thinner after every step she took.
'Aw, I was going to take photos! I'll just stuff my face with one of these babies! Thank your for the meal, Aurelia!'
She took a small bite out of the (Favorite Pastry), savoring the taste out of every bite she took. Just as she was about to take her last bite, she heard a voice crack in the distance. She took the last bite and wiped her hands together to clean them.
She grabbed the camera that was wrapped around her neck and took another attempt to take a picture of the daisies. She peered inside the small hole, figuring out the correct angle to take the right shot. As she hears the click, she heard footsteps coming closer to her.
She looked behind her. She couldn't believe who it was. Her eyes widened in shock and her lips parted. It was Albert.
She felt a smile spread across her face. Somehow, it's as if she knew she'd see him again. He walked up to her, "Hey (Name)! We meet again!" Just those words seemed to make her heart flutter.
She felt the urge to run up to him and wrap her arms around him. And so she did. She was surprised at her own actions. Albert was a bit confused, but he returned the hug.
"Here, I think you dropped this on the bus." Albert reached into his front pocket and took out a folded paper. The poem that (Name) had dropped that day. She was a bit embarrassed. "D-don't tell me, d-did you read it?" He nodded his head and a small chuckle left his lips.
"Don't worry, I liked it." She became flustered, but a smile managed to appear on her face. Someone complimented her writing! For the first time, she felt giddy.
When she was in her teen years, some of her old friends used to tease her about her striving to become a writer in the future. She just felt optimistic about it.
She's never showed anyone her writing since then. Albert complimenting her poem made her feel better.
"Ahaha, thank you," She scratched the back of her neck. "Oh, do you want one?" She held up the box of pastries in front of him. He nodded, "Sure, thanks!" He flashed one of his famous warm smiles at her.
He carefully grabbed one, making sure not to let it slip. He stuffed half of it in his mouth, making his cheeks look all puffed up. "You look like Kirby!" said the (Hair Colour) haired girl. She snorted, laughs began to leave her mouth.
Albert couldn't respond, he still had the pastry in his mouth. He continued to much on it, but then her heard the sound of a camera. Once he had finished eating, he looked at her and blushed. "I do not!" He pouted, whining like a small child. She giggled at him.
"Come over here, see you look just like Kirby!" He looked at the camera, she was right. Then he turned to her, a smile appeared on her face. Her (Eye Colour) orbs were bright. She was so focused on the image.
He then cleared his throat, catching the attention of the young woman. "Oh, do you want to go get some coffee?" She spoke up, she knew a place to go to, the place she works at. Cocaidas, bakery and cafe. He nodded in response.
"Come on! We have to catch the bus!" The girl took his hand in hers. She looked over her shoulder and gave him a bright smile, running to the bus stop.
