3 YEAR TIME SKIP

(Name) waited impatiently at home. Albert had left work and went to a bar. That's what her and Albert's friend said. She wasn't mad, but the fact that he'll come back home late bothered her.

She was soon tired of waiting, so she went to get ready for bed. As she was about to fall into a deep slumber, the entrance door had opened.

She figured it was Albert, so she went downstairs. He was a bit tipsy, but he looked less drunk then he was before.

She walked over to him. "Hey, are you feeling alright?" His face then landed on the crook of her neck. He was obviously tired. So she led him to the bedroom.

She laid him down, then moving into the sheets with him. She slept on her side, her eyelids began to feel heavy.

When the morning came, (Name) got out of bed to make breakfast for the two of them. She made bacon and eggs. Albert awoke and walked downstairs to see his girlfriend cooking.

He went over to her and wrapped his arms around her waist. He kissed her cheeks, "Good Morning, (Nickname)."

"How's your head, you were drinking last night." The spatula picked up the eggs and she placed one on both plates. Her comment made memories of last night flood in his mind.

He gently let go of her. She continued, and set the table. They both sat down and started eating in uncomfortable silence.

After finishing, she got up to wash the dishes but was stopped by Albert gripping her wrist.

She looked down at him, "Um, I need to tell you something (Nickname)." She immediately sat back down.

"Okay, what's wrong?" "Something happened to me last night. I don't know if you'll forgive me for what I did. I truly regret it. I understand if you'll be mad at me." His voice trembled.

He continued, "I slept with another woman. She took advantage of me when I was drunk. I'm so sorry (Name). I didn't mean for this to happen." Tears streamed down his face.

The woman silently cried with him. She took his hand in hers, "I'm so sorry this happened to you honey, but we'll get through this together. This won't happen again."  Name comforted him. "Are you sure?" Albert questions.

"I promise.." Name whispered. The man held the woman in his arms. She understood that he was drunk. But, he'd have to earn some of her trust again.

He rubbed his thumb along the trace of tears that remained on her face. He carried her to the bedroom and laid down on the bed with her.

He was angry at himself for letting this happen. It made him feel horrible that this mistake hurt his lover. He only wanted to spend time with her today.

He laid her head on his chest and played with her soft and (hair length) hair. He planted kisses all over her face, she giggled and nuzzled her face deeper into his chest.

"I love you, Albert Aretz." Her soothing voice comforted him. He tightened his grip around her, making sure not to hurt her. He kissed her head, "I love you too, (Nickname)."

Hearing his last name roll off her tounge fascinated him. He wondered what it would sound like as her last name.
