All Grown Up, Chapter 17

Mia's POV:

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. Groaning, I rolled over and turned it off while getting up from my warm, loving bed.

I turned my straightener on at my vanity while going into my bathroom to get a quick shower. After I cleaned up and ran a razor over my legs I dried off my body and dried my hair.

When my hair was dry I put on my robe and straightened my hair to perfection. I put on a pair of leggings and a comfy sweater over my undergarments. I slipped on my Uggs before going down to eat breakfast.

When I was ready my mom dropped me off at school while she was on her way to take Charlotte to preschool. "Bye, mom." I kissed her cheek and walked towards my homeroom. I hated coming back after breaks. Today was a Wednesday and it felt like a Monday. When I walked into my homeroom my friends greeted me.

"Mia! How come you didn't tell me that you were dating Luke!" My friend Emma asked me.

"That's what I said!" Blue whined. Aaliyah just stood there laughing at them.

"Sorry, I was really busy." I said as an excuse.

"Yeah, with Luke." Lindsay said walking past me bumping my shoulder. I rolled my eyes and walked away.

Lindsay was queen bitch. She was pretty which made me hate her even more. I would like her if she was a nice person, but she is the farthest thing from it. She talks back to adults, is rude to kids who aren't as popular as she is, and she also tries to throw herself at the boys in our grade. They are too blinded by her beauty to see who she really is. I just try to stay out of her way but if she comes after my family, friends, or boyfriend, she better run.

My first classes were boring, not that, that was a surprise. I was excited for lunch like I am everyday because I get to see Luke. I'm so glad that our schools are connected. We have a grade school building and a high school building with a huge cafeteria in between them. The eighth grade and the freshman class have lunch together.

I saw Luke sitting at a table with some of his friends from school and some from the 1d family. I waved to him and he smiled. I got in line and bought a chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and cheese and French fries. I got a water from the vending machine and went to join Luke.

When I got there I was about to sit down when Lindsay slid right in front of me and sat next to Luke. She put her hands around Luke's neck "Luke! I haven't seen you in forever. We should totally catch up!" She squealed. Okay, get your fucking hands off my boyfriend. Luke removed her hands from his neck.

"No, thanks. I'm busy." He said.

"But I haven't even given you a date yet?" She frowned.

"Yeah, I know." He said annoyed. I laughed at his sarcasm and her reaction.

"Now if you will excuse me, I would like to sit and talk with my girlfriend." He said shooing her away. She gasped, standing up, and turning to face me.

"Bye, bitch." I laughed while she ran away.

"She is so fucking annoying, my gosh." I rolled my eyes. Luke laughed and kissed my lips as I sat down.

"I'm trying to eat, thanks." Cameron said annoyed. I rolled my eyes.

"Cam, you know we can do worse." Luke wiggled his eyebrows. I hit him on the arm while Cameron and Logan pretended to throw up at Luke's comment.

"So, how is your day going?" I asked Luke while the rest of the table got caught up in their own conversations.

"Good. I think I aced my math test. Either that or I thought I knew everything and I really didn't. That tends to happen." He laughed and I joined him.
