Time seemed to move on its own as the day [y/n] was taken away seemed like it was yesterday, but was months ago.
Over that time frame, she became skilled in one on one combat but still refused to use her gifts against others, especially the General.
She built a strong relationship with the General. They seemed to be really close to other people.
Maybe a little too close.
At night, she began to experience hazy dreams of someone's life. She could distinctly tell from different voices that spoke, but never saw faces.
But what stood out most to her was a 20-year-old male with ash-blonde hair. At the moment, he and what seemed to be his friends were fighting against someone with light-blue hair and...

"[y/n], you're getting much better,"
General Todoroki chuckled lightly as he sat back up brushing the dust off that clung to his loose white shirt that had two buttons undone up the top, showing the slight dip of his tanned chest. My lips turned up into a small smile at the compliment.
I reach my hand out towards him, helping him back up onto his feet. He mutters a 'thanks' under his breath before getting into a fight stance once again, a silent command saying 'again'.
I plant my feet into the sand like gravel, bending my knees, and dipped my hip inwards. The wind ruffled the few strands of hair that fell out of my pinned back hair. Before one of us chose to go into offense first, we were interrupted.
"General,"
A voice a few feet away spoke, which I didn't recognize, but it seemed Todoroki did as he instantly tensed. His back arched up again and his eyes traveled over my shoulder.
"Commander, Sir," the General coughed.
I turned my neck around to meet stern honey brown eyes.
'Huh... they seem familiar...' I thought but instantly disregarded it.
