Darkness... all I could see was the ungodly darkness...
Black completely overtook my whole body.
I felt cold, but also hot at the same time.
Wait...
From afar, I could see a light. My legs started to move on their own, making me sprint towards the door-shaped light.
"KACCHAN!"
A scream was heard back towards the darkness.
Instead of shock, fear and sadness overwhelmed my senses.
The sounds of thudding came from my right, like boots hitting against concrete.
I turn, but all I could see was the pitch black.
"KACCHAN!"
The voice yelled again but seemed much closer.
From my left, a purple mist started swirling and licking at my ankles.
"Don't come, Deku..."
A voice sounded near the mist, almost strained.
The mist quickly pulled away, back towards my left.
The light started growing, but for some reason I wanted it to stop.
My head turned towards the swiftly evaporating mist, to then see ruby red eyes before they vanished completely.
Fear.
That's what was in their orbs before they disappeared.

Suddenly I was jolted awake, pulled back into miserable reality. My neck and back were cramping from leaning against the hardwood truck.
I uncrumpled my legs from my tight ball to stretch out, also letting my arms loose for the second time that day.
I glance towards the general, who was sitting against the opposite wall from where I was, staring at me intently.
I glare back, earning a small smirk from the bright red-headed man. He looked around a year older than me, around 18 or 19. 'I could take him on...' I thought, sizing him up.
I could jump him from behind and-
"We have arrived!" I female voice shouted from the front, making the moving vehicle slow down to a halt. The man opposing me stood and walked towards me to yank me onto my feet.
"Oi!" I yelled tugging back on my arm.
"Don't make this difficult," the man groaned, pulling me towards the opening doors.
The light blinded me, making my freehand block the sun radiating heat from my eyes. We stepped down onto sandy gravel making the dust fly up from my worn-out leather shoes.
I remove my hand to look up towards a large building, that almost looked like a castle.
Large stone walls jutted up into the sky, making me look like an ant if you were at the top looking down. I stretched for miles on each side, with what looked like guards stationed every one hundred meters.
Each one held a gun, nearly the size of each of them but heald it like a feather. Before I could get a better look, I was pulled towards the overly large door at the front.
"So, first you are going to be questioned and then to be suited into a room. Depending on what your ability is, you will most likely be tested for what you could use your ability best for. Whether that be offense or defense in the ongoing war, which I presume you know." he states in an authoritative tone.
I nod my head slightly, showing I understand what he was talking about.
"Thanks for your hospitality," I say, voice dripping with sarcasm. Even with his head turned in a different direction, I can already tell he was smirking.
"Your welcome miss. Nezu," he states formally.
"So... what's your name Mr?" I ask in a playful tone.
"Well I have many names around here," he declares in a boasting way. I just roll my eyes and ushered him on.
"But, my formal name is General Todoroki,"
I hum in acknowledgment and decided to glance around at the unfamiliar faces. Everyone seemed like they had a job to do.
Some were training, sending messages around, marching around like prances. I just scowl at the ignorance and turn back to face ahead, trying to conceal my fear.
