I stepped closer to the end of the cliff. I was stunned to see the breathtaking scenery below. Turquoise color stream flowing through greens, Sun setting near the horizon drawing patterns on clouds and birds chirping while returning their nests.
I felt a strange craving to stay forever in that moment. Nature always had this miraculous effect on me to soothe me down. I breathed deeply letting myself to relax.
My friends, keep this in your mind. Nature has healing powers. It's her unique magic. It's true that I'm an acrophobic; afraid of heights. But the curiosity burned within me + my turbulent nature compelled me take the risk. I couldn't bear becoming second even to my own phobia. Yeah, that's what I am. I'm a risk taker. I think that touches my pride as well as my ignorance. Ok! enough babbling.
This place is called the world's end. It certainly is the end of the Horton Plains, but not of the world. The glamorous view lay beneath my eyes proved that.
It was very blowy up there. Then suddenly I felt a strange sensation throughout my body. It was more like a small current making me numb and electrified. I couldn't move my hands, head, fingers and the worst; my mouth. Because shouting to my friends was the first thing that I wanted to do. I could hear them chattering unaware of the fact that I was stupefied. In the next split of second I heard the wails and cries behind me. I'll swear that someone or something pulled me down, because I am pretty much sure that an idea of committing suicide wasn't and won't in my agenda ever!
