"Never leave me alone with him again", Suga growled, throwing a death glare at his best friend who had just returned from whatever he was doing. "Whatever", the other mumbled.
"I'm literally standing here, if you have to complain about me then do it at least when I'm not around", Jungkook hissed, not really angry at Suga but he liked to annoy the older.
"Shut up", Suga shot back before walking away."What were you doing this morning? You were away for five hours- not that I was counting", he quickly added before looking down on his shoes. Of course, he wore his Timberlands, he nearly always did.
"None of your business. Now let's walk you home, your mother is probably worried."
Taehyung had a point, he had completely forgotten about his mum, but she was probably freaking out at this very moment.
"Oh, shit-" Jungkook cursed, recognizing how bad all of this must be for his mum.*
"Mum, I can explain", the young boy began before two arms wrapped around him. "I thought something happened to you. I wanted to report to the police but I had to wait for 24 hours and-" "I'm sorry. I really am. I was-" Jungkook looked to Taehyung who was still standing at the door, looking at him weirdly, "with a friend?" It was more of a question than a proper explanation but for his mother, it was enough, The word friend made her eyes immediately glow up.
"Please come in. Thank you for taking care of my son. Do you want to eat something? I can make kimchi and-" "No thank you. I have to go now. Have a good day."Jungkook watched the blond turning around and leaving. He noticed this weird feeling inside of him. Was he actually sad that he was alone now? Did he miss the blond already?
"I'm so happy you found friends. But you're grounded anyways", his mum said strictly before walking to the kitchen to make food for her son. Jungkook just sighed, he knew that his mother only wanted the best for him and he did deserve to be grounded. He could've at least called her this morning.
Hours passed and the young boy started to get annoyed, his mother took away his phone so he really didn't have anything to do. Then he heard something downstairs.
"Excuse me, is Jeongguk at home?"
He immediately recognized the voice of Jimin, making him jump out of his bed, running down the stairs.
"Yes, he is home. But he is grounded", the woman explained. "Oh. I'm sorry for disturbing then. I just didn't get to talk to him at school today and I really wanted to talk to him..." "Alright honey, come in. I'll go and get Jungkook", the brunette gave in, already turning around to go get her son. She was amazed that Jungkook had already found so many friends and loved the idea of people actually caring for him other than herself.Since Jungkook was already downstairs, it didn't take long for his mother to find him and tell him he had a visitor. Of course, he already knew but didn't bother explaining that to the woman that raised him.
"Hey Jimin Hyung", he greeted the older before letting him in and bringing him to his room. "I really like your room, it looks comfortable", Jimin awed, looking at the photos on the walls and the many drawings. "You're really talented. But I have to admit that I don't like the street you live in. Did you know that there are really bad people in that park on the other side of the street?"
Of course, Jungkook knew and simply nodded. "Yeah. Heard of that. But never saw someone", he lied before sitting down on his bed and patting the empty spot next to him. "Sit down, make yourself at home", he told the older, who immediately obeyed. Seconds later the older was completely stretched out on the bed, making Jungkook chuckle a little. "So, what did you want to talk to me about?" "You really don't know? Maybe the fact that you were walking to school with Kim Taehyung and spent the rest of the day with Suga Hyung? My crush if you forgot. What the hell happened?" "Just a project I have to do in music lessons", he lied again, not wanting to tell him the truth- well he wanted, but he couldn't.
"Oh... And are you friends with them now?" "I wouldn't say that. But I will have to spend time with them more often now I guess... I can't tell you why though, you'll just have to trust me with this." "Hm... So you won't hang out with us anymore?" "You know I'd love to spend my time with you all day, especially at school- but I can't at the moment. At least not when the others aren't near me. I know it sounds really stupid but I can't change it at the moment. But maybe I could ask if you could tag along and-" "YOU WOULD REALLY ASK THAT? I love you so much!!"
Jungkook chuckled, he knew that Jimin would love spending time with his crush so he would definitely ask Taehyung if they were allowed to spend time with them as well. J-Hope would just follow what Jimin was doing, they knew each other for so many years and the older always supported his best friend.
"I will try. But don't get your hopes up", Jungkook warned, already knowing that he will have to put a lot of effort into it to convince Taehyung. After all, letting Jimin hang out with them could mean that he'll find out about their activities as well- or even get in danger.
But he knew he couldn't tell Jimin that, so he just had to hope that he would forget at some point."Now tell me more about Suga Hyung. How is he as a person?" "Mean. Cold. But I know he's a softie inside, I just have to find it. He kind of promised me to help me dye my hair on the weekend, so that's an improvement..."
"He's so cute", Jimin mumbled, thinking of the love of his life- at least he liked to think so.
