Kaito had been able to get Kokichi over to one of the student lounge rooms, where Kaede had suggested everyone should meet up, without much of an issue. The Little liar was surprisingly compliant when he was regressed to such a young mindset, apparently. The decorated pacifier bobbed in the little boy's mouth as he looked around, shyly peering out from his Daddy's shoulder. The small boy was clinging onto the astronaut like a koala clings to a eucalyptus tree. Most of the Ultimates who had been proven to be Littles had already slipped, like Kokichi and Shuichi, though a few of them were either not comfortable being Little in front of so many people, or they were simply holding off for as long as humanly possible.

One of the people in the latter group was none other than Miu Iruma.

"Hah!" The inventor cackled with a smirk, "You really are just some dumbass who acts like a shithead little kid!" Believe it or not, Ouma was actually incredibly fragile when he was feeling so small— especially in the sense of emotion. The Little gave a quiet whimper at Iruma's comment as he pulled Meadow close to his chest, shyly hiding his face in the tall male's shoulder as a way of saying that he was starting to get anxious.

Thankfully, Momota caught on pretty quickly, and it didn't exactly make him happy. "Hey, lay off, would ya? Kokichi doesn't need any help feeling worse," he replied with a slight glare.

"Oh, please! That fucker's just a liar who's been toying with you this whole damn time, you fuckin' dipshit!" Miu called back, now managing to give Shuichi the same sort of anxious feeling as he stayed close to Amami and Kiibo. Kokichi was hardly keeping his emotions under control. No more yelling... Please...

"Miu, stop it!" Akamatsu exclaimed, trying to get her girlfriend to calm down before she just made a huge mess of things.

"Then fuckin' make me, bitch!" That was it. That was all that it took to get Ouma to start crying. Unfortunately, Saihara wasn't too happy about that, and he started tearing up before Rantaro picked him up and held him close, quietly whispering sweet nothings to the anxious baby.

Now, it was Maki's turn to step in— and the glare that she gave Miu was not one that you would want to see every day. "Miu," she hissed through gritted teeth, "Come with me. Now." That was all that needed to be said as the assassin dragged the taller girl off with a look that could turn people to stone.

Gonta, however, had decided that now would be a good time to help out; there were two anxious Little boys that had to be calmed down, and, as both a Babysitter and a gentlemen, he just had to help! Rantaro and Kiibo seemed to have things decently under control, so it seemed to be a good idea to help out with the Little who was at a younger headspace. "Kaito, let Gonta help!" He said enthusiastically as he came over to the couple.

"Yeah, sure," the astronaut replied with a nod as he gently rubbed his Little boy's back, "We've just gotta get him calmed down before he gets himself sick." Kokichi, of course, was still crying; was he really just a dumbass who acted like a little kid..?

"Hey, my little star," Kaito cooed softly as he kept his Little boy close, "It's okay, baby. You'll be okay, sweetheart. Daddy's right here— and look! Gonta came over to say hi!" He smiled, hoping that he'd at least be able to help the small male calm down just a bit.

Thankfully, with a quiet whimper and a small sniffle, hesitant, glossy amethyst eyes peered up at Gonta, who promptly returned a gentle smile. "Hi, Little one! Gonta not hurt you!" He insisted, somehow quickly coaxing Kokichi to come slightly more out of hiding.

"... A-Ah..?" The timid baby boy questioned as he began nibbling on Meadow's bow again. He already had that habit, apparently.

"It scary, huh? Little Kokichi no like Miu when loud, right?" The entomologist asked, earning a small nod from the Little as he gave a sniffle, his pacifier being gently slipped right back into his mouth by Kaito. "Well, it okay; friend Gonta protect Little Kokichi!" He beamed. In an instant, Ouma's violet eyes started to shimmer, and he gave a sweet coo as he reached up to gently tap Gokuhara's cheek.

Both Kaito and K1-B0 sighed in relief as they noticed that the Little boys had calmed down. They were definitely going to have to have some sort of Caregiver Conference to make sure that Miu didn't keep terrorizing Kokichi like that.

Gonta, though he was now calmly talking with Kokichi to keep the small boy entertained, was wondering what had happened to the supreme leader that would get him so easily upset— even if he were feeling so small. He knew that Shuichi had anxiety, which made it very easy for him to become upset, but Kokichi's problems seemed even more deep-rooted than that. It was as though he had been dealing with these problems for a while— longer than he could guess.

He was right, though. Only Kaito and Kokichi knew, but Gonta was right. Kokichi had gone through more pain than words could describe, but he never showed that because he didn't want to seem weak and he didn't want to get attached to anyone he would lose. He didn't want to deal with more harsh, god-awful pain. It hurt too much... Way too much...

I know this chapter is short and I'm sorry, but I have like,,, no inspiration or motivation at the moment, and I'm partially stuck on how to expand on this chapter without getting too much into what I want to do for other chapters, so this is just going to have to suffice for now,,, I'll probably edit it later, though!!
