Sidekick - A Villain Kaminari Story

Now What?

Jirou's POV

Kaminari had explained how he had become a villain. The room was now dead quiet.

"Well...I...I didn't end up being a sidekick." Kaminari said, breaking the silence.

"But instead," I said in an even tone, "you became the one thing I despise the most,"

"It's not like I had a choice!" Kaminari yelled.

"You did have a choice!" I screamed back at him, "you did..."

Kaminari interjected, "They were about to kill me!"

"A real hero would have faced death before becoming a villain!!!" I argued.

Kaminari looked shocked at the words I had just said.

"I-"

I interrupted him by saying, "Of course, people show their true colours when facing death."

Kaminari was silent for a moment.

Then he said, "I thought you'd be happy to see me. But I guess..."

He looked up at me, glaring.

"...I was wrong."

I was surprised at how coldly Kaminari had spoken. Of course, he was a villain now.

"Just remember," he said, "It's my right to destroy anything that pisses me off."

He used his quirk and held the electricity close to my face.

"Now," he said in a menacing tone that was unlike him, "Kyoka Jioru, will you join the League of Villains?"

The electricity crackled near my face. I was scared. But Kaminari wouldn't hurt me. I knew that he cared about me too much.

"I'd rather die," I said angrily.

"I'm losing my patience with you. I told Master we would be getting another member. Wouldn't want to disappoint, now would we?"

('Master' is One for All. Forgot to mention Kaminari went to see him)

Master? What was he talking about?

"Ha! So you did become a sidekick!" I laughed.

"Try me," he said unamused.

He brought the electricity closer to my face.

"I already said no. Deal with it."

"You'll join us whether you like it or not."

Kaminari made me blackout.

Time skip to next day at 10:07 AM

"Wake up, sleeping beauty," a soft voice murmured.

I slowly opened my eyes. I was chained onto a wall. Where was I? And who had spoken?

Oh, wait.

The memories came rushing back.

Kaminari.

Villains.

"My head..." I groaned.

"Here's some ice. I don't know if it'll help." a familiar voice said.

"K-Kaminari?" I asked.

A boy a didn't know walked over to me.

"You sure this is the right girl?" He asked while placing the ice on my head. I was too tired to even push him away. 

"This 'friend' of yours looks tired." He said while making air quotes.

"Who are you?" I asked, yawning.
