**ART GOES TO RIGHTFUL OWNERS**

Jirou's POV

[FLASHBACK]

"You'll probably just end up being a sidekick," I said.

"Not true!" answered Kaminari angrily.

[Back to present time]

He was set on being an amazing hero. I could see that now as we were fighting off the villains. They had attacked the U.A. summer camp and we were under heavy fire. Literally. One of the villains' quirks was fire. We were able to hold the villains back for what felt like 20 minutes. Then, a villain with a fire quirk let out a huge burst of fire [Dabi's special move]. It scorched and blinded us. When we could finally see again, I knew something was wrong. Kaminari was gone. He had vanished with the flames.

"Where's Kaminari?!?" I screamed.

"He's gone!" shouted Kirishima.

"No dur idiot!!!" I said angrily.

I couldn't lose him. I had to tell him how I felt. The villains disappeared as unexpectedly as they had come. I was confused and dazed.

"Everyone in the building! Now!" Mr Aizawa shouted.

We were healed the most we could be with our limited supplies. I had managed to escape with only a few scrapes and bruises. Word got around about Kaminari's disappearance. I was so worried about him.

'I have to find him and get him back from the villains,' I thought, 'but how?'

After that, we were taken back to U.A. for safety. Students with more serious injuries (like Midoryia) were taken to the hospital.

I wondered if Kaminari was ok. I wanted to be with him so badly, but I had to stay focused. My classmates were as worried as I was, but all we could do was stay alert and look for news of Kaminari.

Would I ever see him again?

Time skip 2 months

At U.A. Dorms 6:00 AM

It was like any other morning since the summer camp battle. 

Wake up.

Eat breakfast.

Get changed.

Check the news for any signs of Kaminari.

The media was arguing whether Kaminari was dead or had turned into a villain. Even he had the brains to not become a villain. Right?

I giggled at the thought of Kaminari in "Yay" mode. It also made me sad. I was quickly snapped back to reality when Ashido yelled to me.

"Come on, Jirou," the pink-haired girl said, "we're gonna be late!"

I quickly grabbed my bag and raced after the other girls.

"Wait up guys!" I shouted in their direction. Everyone was super pumped for spring break tomorrow. When I finally caught up to my friends, I was panting like a dog.

"Why'd...you guys...stop?" I asked while catching my breath.

I looked up to see tons of reporters swarming the gates of U.A. I walked over to one of them.

"What's going on?" I asked, puzzled.

"Didn't you hear about it?!?" she said, "Someone said that they saw someone who looked like the missing U.A. student Denki Kaminari in an alley near here!"
