Stiles POV
After the whole ring situation with Erica I've decided to find a better place to keep the ring. So I went to the one place where I know it would be safe.
*knocks on door*
"Stiles oh my goodness what a surprise how are you?" Mrs. Tate asks
"Good thank you how about you"
"Pretty good"
"That's good is Malia here" I ask
"Yes she is..... Malia there's someone here to see you"
Malias POV
I was upstairs in my room listening to music when I heard my mom call me from downstairs.
"Malia there's someone here to see you"
"Okay I'm coming" so I made my way downstairs
"Who's at the door" I ask then seeing stiles standing there in my doorway
"Stiles?"
"Hey" he says
"What are you doing here" I ask walking up to him
"I'll give you guys some privacy"
"Thanks mom"
"So what's going on"
"Oh yeah this is for you" he says handing me the engagement box
"Why are you giving me this?"
"Erica found it in my drawer I figured I'd give it you you cause I know you're the one person who would keep it safe"
"Stiles I don't want this why not just give it to Erica when you're ready" I ask
"Because it's not hers..... I made a promise to you remember"
"Yeah a promise that I'm pretty sure is broken now I mean we're not together anymore"
"Malia no matter what you say that's your ring it always has been. That ring was never meant for anyone else but you"
"Stiles"
"Malia please just keep the ring please I want you to keep it"
"Okay"
"Thank you" he says
"Your welcome" I tell him as he left
I shut the door behind as my mom walked back up to me.
"What's that sweetie"
"Oh it's nothing" I say quickly hiding it behind my back
"I'm gonna go to Lydias for a little bit is that okay?"
"Sure honey just be back before dinner"
"Thanks mom"
At Lydias House
"Wow that's a big rock if you ask me"
"Yeah I know"
"What are you gonna do with it?" Lydia asks
"I was wondering if I could leave it with you I can't have that with me it's just constant reminder and I that's the last thing I need"
"Sure I don't mind"
"Please be careful with it"
"I will I promise"
"Thank you"
"Malia can I ask you something"
"Sure"
"Does he know yet" Lydia asks as I shake my head with disappointment
"You have to tell him"
"I can't it will ruin everything"
"Mal it's stiles he loves you even if he's another relationship his love for you will never change"
"You don't get it I can't so I'm choosing not to tell him"
"Malia he has the right to know about his son!"
"Lydia"
"No Mal you've waited long enough I think it's time so either you tell him or I will"
"You would do that to me"
"Yes because I am your friend but I'm also stiles too and I'm telling you right now he deserves to know"
"Ok I guess I'll find a way to tell him"
"Thank you"
Lydia has a good point but I just couldn't bring myself to tell stiles I had his kid.... his son. I've kept it from him for so long that I don't think I can tell him.
