Heading back

A day later (Mal's POV)
I was sitting at my desk tying my shoe laces for volleyball. Stiles was already in the shower to get ready to leave back to beacon hills. I didn't want him to go, while he was taking a shower I just sat there thinking about how it's gonna actually be once we graduate high school and is it really gonna be this hard having to do a long distance relationship where we barely talk.

"Hey you okay" stiles asks as I get back to me from zoning out

"Yeah just.... thinking" I tell him as I get up from my desk and walk over to him as he wraps his arms around my waist

"About" he asks

"Us"

"And..."

"And do you think we'll survive this with the whole long distance thing after we graduate"

"If there's anything I know Malia Tate is that we can get through anything"

"I know but as of right now I don't think we should be together" I tell him

"What"

"It sounds stupid but like I told you we can get through anything and it's just until I come back"

"What exactly are you trying to say" he asks

"What I'm saying is that we should try being friends for now and if we can handle being friends while being away fro each other this long than we can handle it more as a couple" I explain

"Please don't be mad it's just for now" I add

"I'm not mad just confused but if you think that's what we should do than I'm fine with it"

"You sure?"

"Yes cause like I said..."

"We can get thorough anything" I say after knowing he was gonna say that

"Exactly"

"Well I better get going" I tell him

"Yeah me too gonna be quite a drive going back to beacon hills" he says than  grabs his bag and gently kisses me on the forehead.

"I'll see you soon" he tells me

He walks up and opens the door

"Stiles!" I yell as he tends to look back

"I love you" I say

"Back at you beautiful"

Scott's POV
it's officially been 2 days since we all last seen stiles. Lydia says that I shouldn't worry so her, Allison, and Sadie took me out with them so they could find prom dresses and it's been hours but I'm just worried about stiles I mean after all he is my brother.

"Ooh what about this" Allison asks me

"Eh it's to puffy"

" this one"

"Too feathery"

"Perfect wait here we're gonna go try these on" she says as I sat down on the chair waiting

"Ugh dress shopping it just never ends does it" I hear a familiar voice behind me so I get up and turn around

"Stiles wha-where the hell you been man I was worried" I say giving him a hug

"I had to get away to you know clear my head"

"where'd you go" I ask

"I mean if I told you that I'd have to kill you"

"Well I'm glad you're back" I tell him

"Me too" he says

"Okay so we like these dresses but we're just not sure" Allison says as her and the girls walk out the dressing room

"Hey I got surprise" I tell them moving to the side

"Oh my god stiles" they all yell going up to him

"You okay where'd you go" Lydia asks

"He won't say" I tell her

"What why" they ask

"It's a secret" he says

Stiles POV
"dress shopping huh Scott"

"They made me" he exclaims

"But since you're back maybe we could go back to the house of something let the girls do there thing" Scott suggests

"Yeah we'll go back to my place"

"Cool you okay with that" Scott asks Allison

"Yes go"

"Thanks love you" he tells her giving her a kiss on the cheek

Back at the house
"So you gonna tell me where you went" Scott asks

"I uh I went to see Malia"

"Really how'd that go"

"Good actually except for the part of her dumping me again" stiles says

"Wait what?"

"I mean for now but right now we're just friends"

"How come"

"She wants to try doing this whole long distance thing as friends that way as a couple we'll be stronger enough to handle it"

"That's good"

"Yeah well just think about it she'll be back soon"

"Yeah I know now all I have to do it wait" stiles tells him.
