3rd POV
Flying above Hotlands, Sans saw the door to MTT Resort close, but not before seeing a pair of white wings. He flew over and landed by the door, stopping to listen and make sure she wasn't on the other side. Once he was sure she wasn't, Sans proceeded to enter and follow.
There were plenty of other monsters here, so Sans was able to follow without being seen by Frisk. He did end up getting hit by some large monster's wing, but he just ignored it. Sans barely saw Frisk disappear into the core. 'Where is she going?' Sans thought to himself as he pushed past the crowd and entered the core. He could faintly hear footsteps coming from down the hall, so he used that as a guide. He used side halls when he could, to lessen the chances of being caught following.
When Frisk went into the New Home, Sans felt a bad feeling arise within him.

Frisk grabbed the key from the kitchen and the one in the hall. She then unlocked the chains blocking the staircase. She walked down and monsters with little wings continued the story they had been telling her since she had entered the colorless upper floor of the core. Now they were in the New Home as well, and she figured she may as well let them continue their story without complaint.
Soon she found herself in another grey hall. At the end was yet another doorway. Frisk walked in and found a large hall lined with pillars. The room was lit up only where the window's light could reach and was otherwise kinda dark. The ceiling was so high up the monster with the biggest wings could do air backflips (if that was the sort of thing they were in to).
Just then a winged shadow crossed the tiled floor and Frisk looked up to see who was flying in here. She figured it was a Froggit, with their cute little wings, but at the thought of their little wings she realised the shadow was way too large to have been just a small Froggit. A thud sounded in front of her and she turned her attention to the dark-winged skeleton that stood before her.
"Sans? What are you doing here?" Frisk asked carefully. He looked unhappy and she didn't want to upset him further.
"i could ask ya' the same question, kiddo." Sans replied with a lazy shrug, but there was something about the tone in his voice that hid another meaning. Frisk couldn't come up with an answer, but it didn't seem like she needed to because Sans had started talking again.
"what's with that expression on your face? yeah, i know what you're doing. you're either trying to leave the underground or free all monsters from the underground. but here's my real question: why? why would you leave knowing the other humans will see you as an outcast now that you have wings? why would you release monsterkind from the underground 'cause we both know they won't accept us up there? they'll either sent you or us back to the underground. so why are you here?" He spoke with anger building up behind every word so that the last few words he was near shouting.
"Because I'm the only one that can do something, that has the power to RESET, that can at least try to help everyone. Haven't you noticed that, Sans?" Frisk shot back. This was becoming an argument and she knew it. They very rarely argued in the past and was something they both hated, especially in front of Papyrus. He would get fairly upset at the both of them. Now they were arguing again, and Papy wasn't here to break them up.
"you think i don't know that? i haven't been napping at my station this whole time, Frisk!" Sans's wings were now bristling with fury behind him. His feathered tail was swishing back and forth a bit behind him, too. Although Frisk didn't want to get into a fight with Sans, she wasn't just going to go back to the skelebro's house quietly.
"If you know everything, then you know you can't keep me in the Underground forever," Frisk said as calmly as she could. "Right?"
The winged skeleton had no response, and even if he did he wouldn't have been able to. Because just then, cracks covered the ground and widened as green roots covered with sharp thorns. On instinct, Sans shot up into the air to avoid the sudden plants, grabbing Frisk and taking her up with him. Sans then turned to Frisk, who was in his arms bridal-style.
"maybe we should continue this conversation later."
