Hongjoong sighed deeply seeing the small house in front of him.

He didn't want to be here. He didn't believe any of those supernatural things. But the circumstances were pushing him and he was running out of options.

And as you may or may not have guessed, he had come to visit the greatest witch Seonghwa. He had heard about him from the villagers.

As he had heard, the witch was living alone inside the forest, and was able to grand every wish. Hongjoong was a lot skeptical at first, but right now he was desperate.

But before making his way there, he made sure to learn as much as possible for Seonghwa. Everyone seemed to know him and they weren't saying the nicest of words. The villagers had heard from others, who happened to visit him, what was going on.

Though the ones that visited him weren't alive anymore, or so they said.

Hongjoong learnt that, your wish would come true only if you were able to catch the witch's black cat and bring the key that was on his collar to Seonghwa.

Hongjoong found it quite absurd but passed through it. Seonghwa was a witch, he could do whatever he wanted. He wasn't desperate for people coming to him, it was the other way around.

And that applied to Hongjoong too. He was desperate for his help, he had a wish too.

So that's were he was right now, in front of the witch's house. The villagers gave him a map to the house, since it seemed like a lot of people knew where he was.

Hongjoong, standing close to the house, felt a strange aura surround him.

'of course Hongjoong. You're outside a witch's house, what did you expect?'

With shaking legs he walked to the front door and was ready to knock. But he wasn't able to. The door opened by itself.

Hongjoongs heart hammered against his chest, afraid of what he might encounter.

With trembling hands he opened the door.

"Hello? May I come in?" He asked politely. What? Just because the door opened by itself didn't mean that he would burst through the house like that.

"You may" He heard a distant voice followed by a chuckle.

He didn't know how to respond so he pushed his nervousness and went inside. He didn't forget to close the door behind him.

The inside was fairly dark, Hongjoong wasn't able to identify what was happening inside, or if it had any furnitures nearby. It seemed like the windows were closed, preventing any light from coming inside.

A clap was heard and light filled the room. Hongjoong closed his eyes from the sudden brightness, it hurted his eyes. He blinked them slowly and started looking around the room.

The outside of the house didn't do justice to the inside. In fact Hongjoong thought that it was quite big.

On his left was a fireplace along with an arm chair. Inside the fireplace was a big pot, which seemed to be filled with something. And behind him was a big bookcase. On his right was a table with chairs and some cupboards on the top.

His eyes caught sight of some stairs at the corner of the house, leading probably down.

But he had yet to find the witch. It was like there was noone inside the house.

'He probably went downstairs' He thought and stood still in the middle of the room. He didn't know what he should do.

He was so lost in his own thoughts, that he didn't notice the movement behind him. He felt something hot against his neck, maybe his sweat.
