"Take a seat Hongjoong" Seonghwas sweet voice was heard, sitting on the chair behind his desk.Hongjoong had a small deja vu, remembering clearly the first time he was in this house. He was feeling the same things, nervousness, anxiety, his heart was beating rapidly.
He watched Seonghwa sat down, and he had no other option but to comply. Besides, that was his idea.
Four days had passed since they all lived in Seonghwas house, and Hongjoong had finally found the courage to ask Seonghwa to talk about this.
Seonghwa was surprisingly chill and calm about this, while Hongjoong felt like he was going to faint.
With shaking legs, he moved and sat on the seat across from Seonghwa, findling with the hem of his shirt.
"So, Hongjoong, I'm sure you wanted to discuss about your wish. If I'm not mistaken" The witch started, seeing the nervous look on the humans face.
"Y yeah. Even though I'm confused as to why you let me win"
"I didn't let you win. You had won"
"I didn't bring you the key, Seonghwa. That was what I had to do in order to win. But I don't think you got a key from me?" Hongjoong said, looking straight at Seonghwa.
"I'm sure that if you had the chance, you would have brought it to me" Seonghwa smirked, seeing that Hongjoong was slowly becoming less and less nervous, because he was frustrated with him.
The human sighed, seeing that this didn't led anywhere.
"I guess you're right. But this is isn't a challenge right? Because I won't take anything from you, if this is a joke"
"Hongjoong, you're hurting my feelings. Have I shown you anything other than honesty? I'm not playing with you. You have my word" Seonghwa reassured the human, resting his hands on his desk.
Hongjoong calmed down, but only a little, his shoulders relaxing.
Seonghwa bend and searched in his drawers, finding the small vial with Hongjoongs blood in it. Since the human had won, there was no reason for Seonghwa to keep this.
"So, mind telling me what would you wish for?" The witch asked, returning back to his position, ready to fulfil his request.
"Oh right. So um, I guess you know that Jongho isn't well. He has this weird disease, maybe for about a year now. The doctor had told us that, he didn't have much time left. So, what I wanted, is for you to treat him. If not make the disease disappear, at least to not be this painful for him" Hongjoong said, a sad expression on his face.
That was his wish. That's why he was so desperate. He couldn't let his brother suffer like that, he didn't deserve it. Hongjoong would give his life, if that meant that Jongho would be healthy.
Seonghwa leaned back on his chair, thinking. He was amazed yet again by Hongjoong. He should have guessed that his wish would be about someone else. Seonghwa admired him once again. The fact that he risked his life for Jongho.. The witch had not seen someone else ask something for someone else. Everyone cared only about themselves. But Hongjoong.. He proved once again that he was different.
Seonghwa smiled, and nodded his head. He was gonna grand his wish. Jongho would be as healthy as he was before.
"S so? It's not too much, right?" The human asked, nervous by Seonghwas silence.
"Jongho will be cured. Don't worry. He won't suffer from now on. Not now that I'm by his side" Seonghwa smiled brightly, calming Hongjoong even more.
The human was delighted hearing that, his heart beating fast against his chest. His brother would not be sick anymore.
He couldn't control himself at that moment. He was so grateful to Seonghwa. He stood up from his seat and before anyone could react, he moved and hugged Seonghwa.
The witch was taken aback by this sudden action, staying still for a moment.
"Thank you Seonghwa. Thank you so much" He said, while tightening his grip on Seonghwa.
The witch smiled, and cautiously wrapped his own hands around Hongjoongs small frame. He could feel his beating heart, and moved his hands up and down to help him relax.
And Hongjoong sure did. Seonghwa had a calming aura around him, that was one of the few things Hongjoong noticed about the witch. He was always so calm and soft spoken.
Right now, being in his arms, made Hongjoong realise just how much he liked Seonghwa. Because he really did. As much as he didn't want to admit it, it was true. He truly liked him.
"I suppose you wanted to talk about something else too, right?" Seonghwas voice was heard again, barely above a whisper.
Hongjoong shivered hearing him, nodding his head.
"Sit" Seonghwa said, and Hongjoong tried to move. But when Seonghwa didn't move his hands, he understood that he had to sit somewhere else.
So, here he was, sitting on Seonghwas lap, legs on either side of him. The position was more comfortable rather than awkward. Because what was supposedly going to make them awkward, was not in their minds. So they enjoyed it.
Hongjoongs hands were close to his body, tracing his fingers on Seonghwas chest, while his head was laying on the crook of his neck. Seonghwa placed his head on top of Hongjoongs, his hand leisurely going up and down on his back.
Neither of them spoke, just enjoying the presence of the other. But Hongjoong knew, that he had to speak.
"Seonghwa, what are we?" He finally mastered the courage to speak.
Seonghwas breath hitched at his throat. Not because he didn't expect that kind of question. Maybe he thought that Hongjoong would ask it more gently. But surprisingly, he was to the point.
"I like you Hongjoong. If you had thoughts about this, yes I truly do like you. It might be something more, but I guess it's too early to tell. What I know, is that I don't want to be away from you. That was primarily a reason I took you here with me"
"That's basically kidnapping. You could've just asked" Hongjoong chuckled, amused by how Seonghwa showed his affection.
"Yeah, you're right. I guess I was afraid. This feeling was too foreign to me, and I did the first thing that came to my mind"
Hongjoong laughed at that. As much as he liked Seonghwa, he had to admit that the witch was an idiot.
"So, what about you? I basically just opened you my heart. Dont be silent" Seonghwa chuckled, only because he wanted to hide his nervousness. He was waiting anxiously for what Hongjoong had to tell.
"Mm, I don't know. Should I tell you or not" Hongjoong teased. Now that he at least knew how Seonghwa was feeling, he could make him a little crazy.
"Hongjoong.." The witch whined hearing that, a pout forming on his lips.
"OK ok. Sorry" He laughed.
"Of course I like you too Seonghwa. How could I not" He said, snuggling against Seonghwa. The witch let out a sigh of relief, happy that Hongjoong returned his feelings.
"So, does this mean that we are together?" The human asked, after a moment of silence.
"If you want to"
"I'd love that" Hongjoong smiled, and lifted his head to kiss Seonghwa.
