Seonghwa started waking up, when he felt something wet on his cheek. He opened his eyes, only to see his cat, licking over his face.

He didn't make an attempt to stop it, since it would come back to do the same. Instead he tried lifting his body from the bed, his head hurting for some reason.

He sat on his bed, the cat beside him, rubbing its head to his thigh.

He brought a hand through his hair, softly scratching the animal.

"I guess we could take a walk close to the river, what you think? It's been a while since we went there" He said looking at his cat, to which he received a happy meowing. His cat loved being outside.

So without wasting his time, he got ready, and exited the house along with his cat.

The walk to the river was peaceful. The occasional noises of the animals were heard, and Byeol was getting distracted by butterflies.

As he was approaching the river, he could hear faint noises. There must be people nearby. He had to be careful. He didn't want to be spotted.

As he was getting closer and closer, the voices becoming more audible, he could swear that he heard familiar voices.

He didn't let his guard down just yet, and hid behind a tree to look at the people. And soon he saw them.

There were three people, standing by the river bank, two sitting there quietly, while a smaller boy was running around.

"Joongie! Jongie! Look what I found!" A familiar voice said, and Seonghwa knew to who it belonged, and by hearing the names, he was more than sure.

So, seeing that there wasn't anything to fear, he went out and started walking towards them.

His heart was beating fast, for an unknown reason. He was just looking at Hongjoong. The male was leaning backwards, resting his body on his elbows, while his legs were inside the river. He had his eyes closed, seemingly enjoying the atmosphere around him.

Seonghwa couldn't help but starting to observe Hongjoong. From his red hair, down to his face, past his eyes and nose, until he made a stop at his lips.

For some reason his face grew hotter, just by that. He mentally slapped himself for thinking something like that, and continued.

"Byeol!" He heard a small but excited voice say, and looked at San, who was running towards them.

The cat didn't hesitate to run to San, jumping right on his arms.

Of course that didn't go unnoticed by the two other boys, who immediately turned their heads around, one with confusion and the other with realisation.

Hongjoong watched the tall and lean figure walk towards them, and couldn't help but blush at the sight. He gulped and he found himself unable to look away from Seonghwa.

This was the first time he had seen the witch after their kiss, and he didn't know how he should react. Maybe Seonghwa had already forgotten about it. Maybe it didn't even affect him. Maybe this was something insignificant about him.

"Hello" He heard a deep and gentle voice say from above them.

Seonghwa was looking between him and Jongho, and Hongjoong didn't know what to do.

"Hi" Jongho was heard from beside him. He turned to look at Hongjoong, to see why he wasn't replying, seeing that he was already looking at the male.

"Do you know each other?" Jongho asked hesitantly.

"Yes"

"No"

The two males exchange looks. What were they thinking? Hongjoong was trying to not seem suspicious about it, but Seonghwa had to ruin it.

"No"

"Yes"

They said for the second time. Hongjoong let out a sigh. Great.

"OK. I shouldn't have asked then. Well either way, since I don't know the man, my name is Jongho" He said quickly, understanding that there was something going on with his brother and this man.

"Nice to meet you Jongho. I'm Seonghwa. And thank you for your consideration" Seonghwa said politely.

"Don't worry about it. Do you.. Maybe want to stay alone?" He asked again. He was eyeing San the whole time, seeing him playing with the cat, and he kinda wanted to play with it too. So, he mostly asked because he wanted to be alone.

Hongjoong watched him carefully, and Jongho knew what his brother was thinking.

"I'll be alright don't worry. Besides, you won't be that far I suppose"

"We'll be just a few meters away OK?"

"Yeah Hongjoong don't worry"

Hongjoong smiled warmly at his brother, kissing his forehead.

He stood up and glancing at Seonghwa, gestured for them to walk a little further away.

The witch nodded and followed Hongjoong, keeping a safe distance from him.

There was silence between them, the both didn't know what they should do.

The stopped after some time, and Hongjoong sat down, returning to his previous state. Seonghwa stood there, watching him from above.

"Aren't you gonna sit?" Hongjoong asked, seeing that Seonghwa didn't make an attempt to sit.

"Oh yeah. Of course, sorry" He said quickly and sat down, crossing his legs.

Seonghwa bit the inside of his cheek, wanting to start a conversation with Hongjoong.

"I'm sorry" He finally said, avoiding to look at Hongjoong.

The latter understood quickly why he was saying that and sighed.

"It's alright Seonghwa. Don't think to much about it"

"But that's the point. I cannot not think about it"

What he said, made Hongjoong turn to face him for the first time. What was he talking about?

"What do you mean Seonghwa?" He asked warily.

"Emm, nothing. Forget I even said that" He said, trying to get himself out of this situation. He didn't know why he said that in the first place. What was he thinking?

"Seonghwa, would it be weird if I said the same thing? That I keep thinking about it?"

Hongjoong, even though he didn't know what to think, he wanted to talk about this with Seonghwa. He had questions, and he didn't want to leave them unanswered.

"Why did you do that? Why did you kiss me that day?"

Seonghwa stayed quiet. Why did he do that? Because he wanted to? Because he didn't have anything else to do? Maybe he wanted to do that, but he wasn't letting himself believe that?

"I don't know Hongjoong"

"You know. You know very well. Dont play dumb with me" Hongjoong said, getting irritated by the witch's behaviour.

"Maybe I wanted to do that. OK?"

"You wanted to? Why would you want to kiss me?" He said with disbelief, pointing at himself while looking at Seonghwa.

The witch only looked back. He wasn't moving, wasn't breathing. He was just looking at Hongjoong. He observed his features again, noticing how pretty the human was.

His stare stayed glued to his lips, which were parted, red and full, waiting to be kissed again. And Seonghwa wasn't thinking at this moment.

With a swift move, he pounced at Hongjoong, trapping him under him. The human was laying on his back, while Seonghwa was above him, his hands on either side of his face.

"S Seonghwa what are you doing?" Hongjoong said out of breath, completely baffled by the man's action.

But Seonghwa didn't speak. Instead he bend down, capturing Hongjoongs lips with his.
