"Good morning sweetie" Hongjoong said softly, shaking San. The small boy was curled like a ball on Jongho's arms, and stirred a little.
He opened his eyes, yawing softly, seeing Hongjoong over him. A smile was formed on his lips, and lifted his body slowly, stretching his arms towards his brother.
Hongjoong smiled and took the little in his arms, lifting him slowly from Jongho's lap.
"Good morning Joongie" San said with his cute voice, and they both exited the room, leaving Jongho to sleep some more.
"How did you sleep sweetheart?" He asked, moving towards the kitchen, where Seonghwa was waiting for them.
"Fine. Jongie is really warm and soft" San said with a yawn. Hongjoong kissed his rosy cheek, and placed San on a chair.
"Good morning Mr Hwa" He said happily, waving his small hand at the witch.
"Good morning to you little man" The older responded, placing a kiss on his head. San giggled, liking the affection he was getting.
"Is everything alright?" The witch asked, looking at San.
"Yeah, it's all good" The younger laughed, kicking his legs back and forth on the chair. He waited patiently for the food to get ready or for the olders to start talking. But this didn't happen.
"Is something wrong?" He asked Hongjoong, seeing the weird silence in the room.
Hongjoong turned and smiled at him, bringing his hand through San's hair.
"No sweetheart. Everything is fine"
"Joongie, will we stay here?" He asked, his big doey eyes literally begging Hongjoong.
Seonghwa turned around, smiling when he made eye contact with the other. He took the plates with the food, setting them on the table.
"Mr Hwa, will we stay here?" He asked again, seeing that there was no response from his brother.
"I think that your brother thought about this, and decided that maybe you could stay here with me"
San's eyes sparkled hearing that. His mouth hang open, looking between Hongjoong and Seonghwa. He couldn't believe his ears.
He opened his arms widely, throwing himself in Hongjoong. He hugged him as tight as he could, not wanting to let go.
"Thank you Joongie. Thank you so much" He said, muffled by his face being smooshed in the olders chest.
"You're welcome sweetheart" He replied, not being able to hold his smile. He had seen how bad San wanted to be there, and now it was confirmed.
"I'm I'm gonna tell Jongie. He's gonna like that" The younger said, and jumped from his seat. He went and hugged Seonghwas legs, and immediately dashed to their room.
"Jongie, Jongie wake up" His excited voice was heard from inside the room, making the two oldest laugh.
"I guess it is settled then" Seonghwa smiled warmly at Hongjoong, and walked closer to him. He placed a gentle kiss on his forehead, taking a seat opposite of him.
Hongjoong had a silly smile on his face, watching the plate with food that was in front of him. He was thinking of anything and everything at the same time.
His life had change dramatically, that was for sure. Who would've thought that all these things would happen, in such a short amount of time.
And Hongjoong wasn't scared of this change. If anything, he came to realise that, nothing in life stays the way it is. Even if you strive for the better life, for something stable, there will always be something that would change that. It may be for the worse. It may be for the better.
In Hongjoongs case, it was the best thing that had ever happened to him. He didn't regret his decision one bit.
Seonghwa on the other hand, was watching Hongjoong with a loving expression. He could not believe too, how things had turned out. He always thought that he was unable to feel such emotions, that because if his nature he was doomed to live alone. But Hongjoong came unexpectedly into his life and changed everything. And Seonghwa loved him for that.
Footsteps soon were heard, meaning that the two brothers were approaching the room. San came bouncing inside, a huge smile on his face, while Jongho had a shocked expression on his face.
He looked between the two, and once he saw the smiles on Hongjoongs and Seonghwas face, he couldn't hold back. He ran and fall right into his brothers arms, squeezing him close to his body.
"Is this true Joongie? We will stay here?"
"If that's what you want Jongie"
"Of course I want this. Thank you so much" He said, hugging him a little tighter before getting away to look at the witch.
"Thank you Mr Seonghwa for this. Thank you for accepting us into you house" He said, and bowing a little, he made his way to sit close to his brother.
Seonghwa smiled seeing that, being extremely happy that they all wanted to live with him. He saw how San also walked and took the seat next to him, looking between them.
"Pleasure is all mine Jongho. Dont worry, I'll make your stay here as enjoyable and comfortable as possible" Seonghwa said, and looked one last time at Hongjoong, who was already looking at him, smiling.
"But for now, we need to eat. We don't want for the food to get cold" He reminded, and motioned for them to start eating.
San was the first to start, waiting too much time. He was eyeing his plate for the longest time, but he didn't want to seem rude, so he waited for the rest. Soon everyone followed his actions, and started taking bites of their food.
"Thank you Mr Hwa for the food" San said, though it sounded weird, since his mouth was stuffed with the food.
"You're welcome young man. But don't talk while eating, you'll choke" Seonghwa said, and took a cloth from beside him, wiping the crumps from the corner of his mouth.
