Others don't define your future(A Fumikage Tokoyami x oc Fanfic)

Chapter 3

Warning: The part of the plot line for this book contains Spoilers for the manga. You manga readers (those who read main and vigilantes) will know what I'm talking about.

Mino's pov

This wasn't supposed to happen. Why was Dad and Shigaraki attacking us? Bakagou and Todoroki leapt at dad, going to attack. I was frozen. I couldn't attack him. He was my dad.

He surrounded all of us in mist. I was teleported to somewhere dark annd gloomy. I stumbled about, hitting my head against a building.

"Finally. It worked. We finally made one"

I panicked, looking around. "Who's there?" I demanded, feeling my breath pick up.

"Kurogiri. You will raise it. Teach it to be just like us"

That sounded like All for one. I looked around. Trying to find him but I couldn't see him. What was going on?

I felt a sudden pain strike in my head. I pressed up against it, expecting to feel blood or something but there was nothing.

Another pain shot through my head and I fell to my knees, letting out a strangled cry of pain. My eyes widened. That cry didn't sound like me. It sounded horribly pained.

I tried to call out for help but all that came from my mouth was another pained screech.

I pulled my hands slowly from my face, looking down at my hands. They were slowly turning purple. My fingernails were becoming more like claws and they were actually kind of fuzzy.

My breathing picked up even more. What was happening to me? I tried to call out for my dad but that same strangled screech.

"Mino!" someone called. I looked up. Tokoyami kneeled next to me. I tried to say his name but it just came out as another pained screech.

I didn't know what I looked like. Was the rest of me turning out like my claws? Is that why he looked so worried. I was panicking even more. This was just making it worse, the purple fuzz was spreading up my arms now.

I shook my head, crying out repeatedly. Tokoyami wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me into a hug.

"It's alright. It's going to be alright. Just calm down. It's going to keep getting worse if you don't calm down alright" he encouraged. I took in a long shaky breath. Then another. With every deep breath I took, my breathing became less ragged and it didn't feel like my heart was going to burst out of my chest.

I burried my face into his shoulder, feeling sleepy all of a sudden. "Mino? Are you alright?" Tokoyami asked. I felt my eyelids drop but I tried to keep them open. "Mino?" he asked again.

"Mino. Stay with me" he ordered. "Swrklpy" I mumbled although it wasn't exactly coherent. I don't even think it was even a language or a word. It was just..... All my mind could figure out to say.

My eyes fell shut again and this time I couldn't open them. I just fell into darkness.
