"Come on!" I groan when those undead freaks won't go down. I kept spamming my trigger, shooting them. Then I managed to kill one with a head-shot. I rolled my eyes. "Oh.... I should've known."
I continue to give headshots with a spray of bullets from my AK47."Yes!" I shout as I jump up.
"Hey Gabito!" My Uncle Chino's voice calling me from down the hall.
"Que?" I respond in Spanish while focusing on the game. There's too many but i must past this round to beat my personal record.
"Get over here. I need you to take Angie to school!" He shouted.
I rolled my eyes. Why won't he just listen to the commercials about no drinking and driving, so he won't get his license suspended yesterday? El boracho este. "Hold on a minute!" I shouted back then I get turned down by a rogue freak. "No! Damn it!" Little frustrated, I turn off the tv and the PlayStation.
"I'm coming!" I put on my black shirt over my COD t-shirt. Took my keys on top of my TV and left my room.
I met up with my uncle Chino and my little sister Angie at the living room. Angie is all dressed up and ready for kindergarten.
"Nene!" She said my nickname happily. I'm her favorite driver, obviously.
I smiled when I hold her hand. "Let's go."Uncle chino opened the door and we all walked out. He locked the door behind him and we got in to our GTO.
After dropping Angie off at her school Chino got a call on his cell. Later he hanged up and turn to me excited. "Pick up my friends Enrique and Eduardo. We need them to do something." He told me.
"What are we going to do exactly?" I asked raising a brow.
"Don't ask just do as I say OK." He orders. Something is wrong, but I don't know what to do so I obeyed him.
He had always been like this ever since he became our legal guardian. My sister and I moved from Los Angeles to Atlanta years ago because our parents had died in a car accident and there's nobody to take us in except for Chino. He's the only family member we have. He doesn't like kids but he owe it to his brother, my dad so that's how we end up here.
I parked in front of the city bank and the three adults got out of the car. "Wait here, and keep it running." He orders and like always I obeyed.
I wish my parents are here so we won't have to move, so I won't have to live far away from my friends.
(Later)
I was listening to my favorite song on the radio.
Until, Ding! Ding!
The bank's alarm went off. What happen? In the distance I saw my uncle and his two friends running towards me and carrying heavy duffle bags in their hands. They opened the trunk and putting bags in. I am so scared. What did they do in the bank? I heard gunshots and the left side windows of my car shatters. I duck and cover my head below the steering wheel and awed in pain as small pieces of jagged glass cuts my skin.
I heard more gunfire and this time it's from my uncle and his friends. I look in the rear-view mirror and watch chino point with his custom revolver at the bank's security guard and shot him. He killed him! I had never been scared like this in my 16 years. They all get in my car. "Drive man!" Eduardo yelled at me.
I wanted to get out of here so badly, so I press down the gas hard. The tires spun in place and then the car accelerated up to 50 mph. My heart was pumping with adrenaline like the 8 cylinder engine under the hood.
I dodged a couple of pedestrians and drove over the sidewalk and onto the street. I really don't know where I'm going.
I steered left and right, avoiding collisions with other cars. He used and lied to me! How could he decided to rob a bank with a risk of getting arrested or getting killed when he have two kids to take care of?
