"I don't know!" I told him. I think the argument we had with that girl had attracted the walkers. He sat across from me on the wall.

"Oh wait." Glenn lifts himself up and brought out a talkie.

"Since when you get that?" I asked.

Walkers were still moaning around us and banging their hands on the door.

"Lee gave it to me before we left. The little girl has the other one."

"Great. Call them." We only talked in a low tone because of those things out there.

Glenn pressed the button. "Hey there. This is Glenn and uh Gabe and we're kind of in a jam here."

We waited for a response but nothing.

He tried again. "Uh...little girl. If you're there, can you put your daddy on the phone? Or talkie or whatever?"

We waited again, but this time someone answered. "This is Lee. What's up?"

I sighed when I heard his voice. I thought we're going to be trapped in here.

Glenn called back. "So .... We're down at the motor inn and ... Well we're stuck."

"Stuck?" Lee raised a eyebrow.

"Yeah. Gabriel and I were getting gas and then a bunch of walkers came from all directions. Now we're hiding over here, but they won't leave."

There was a short pause but Lee came up again. "Hey Glenn. We're going to talk it over and send a group to come get you two. Alright?"

Glenn sighs with a small grin on his face. "Awesome. We'll sit tight till then."

"Sounds good." Lee said before he hung up.

Glenn set his talkie on the cold floor between us. "Well. We will be here for a while."

I looked up at the doors above me and sighed. "Yep."

"Soo... Uh where you and your girlfriend headed?" Glenn asked.
What the f*** is he talking about?

In a soft tone. "Atlanta. And we are not together. I just found her along the way."

"Oh. Why go to Atlanta?" He asked.

"For two reasons: one, my sister is over there, and second there's an evacuation center at Fire sign Stadium. The military will take us somewhere safe and away from those things."

"What?! We have to tell them." Glenn brought out his talkie, but I stopped him. He has a confused look on his face.

"We'll tell them when we get back. We don't want to waste the battery."

"How come you didn't tell us before?" He asked.

"What you think? Your group wants us out and that poor boy dead. I must have forgotten about that."

"Ya. I get it."

"What's up with that old guy? Does he always act like a total a**w****?"

"Yeah. I don't know. I had just met them yesterday when all of this happened."

I heard footsteps outside. "Did you hear that?"

Glenn doesn't need to answer. He was already up and spy through the small crack. I held my bat firmly in my hands.

Glenn looked back at me. "It's them. Carley and Lee are here."

I was relaxed and loosen my grip on the bat.
