Well it took a while, but The Man is back in action. Turns out that flu thing wasn't as bad as I thought, just a fever one minute and the coughs the next, gave it a few weeks and the doctor gives me the clear! Time to pick right back up where I... We left off...

I felt so bad leaving him to take my time off. I mean... it's happened before but it still felt off not being on the road with him for a while. Thankfully, soon I get to see my awesome husband again after so long. I miss him.

Anyways, I packed up my suitcase and gear bag from and left our house in Florida at around 6:00 in the morning and began the long drive in my Subaru (the one that Brandon made me in our first book) to Columbus Ohio. Let me tell ya, I'm all for long drives, but TWELVE HOURS!? To be fair though, it's not even the distance that I dislike. It's the fact that I don't have anyone in the car with me to talk to or sing songs with or anything... damn it was rough.

Many gas/food/restroom stops later, I made it to the hotel that he was staying at and I saw his white Subaru in the parking lot with an open space next to it. I parked the car and went to check in. I got there around six in the afternoon and it was pretty dark because of this whole fall backwards time changey thing, so I just decided to find his room and possibly crash for the night.

I eventually found it and knocked on the door waiting for a response. A few minutes later, he opened the door and let's just say things got hella emotional.

"H-Hey..."

"Hey... been a while."

"Yeah... it's has..."

I could feel a tear streaming down my face so I pulled him in for a deep hug as I let them flow. He didn't even fight it and wrapped his arms around my back.

"I missed you."

"I missed you more."

I said as we let go and walked in. He helped me unpack and I showered from the long drive. After I finished, just sat and talked for a while.

"So... I assume you flew up here?"

"Well..."

"You did not drive all the way up here."

I walked over to the blinds and opened them to reveal my car sitting next to his.

"Wow... that's dedication."

"I couldn't wait to see ya again... look I'm so... so sorry I took off so soon after London. I-I just came down with something and I... I didn't want you to get it t-"

He put a finger over my lips as we looked deep into each other's eyes.

"It's okay... you're here now... that's all that matters..."

I could feel my heart racing, I've waited so long just for this moment. The two of us... alone... with each other.

We hugged moments later and... this one felt special, after everything we endured throughout all these years, we still stuck by each other. It just felt surreal.

"I love you..."

"I love you too."

We soon let go and just hung out for a bit.

"Hey, it's around dinner time, wanna go out somewhere?"

"R-Really?"

"Yeah... my treat."
