Sams p.o.v.

I sat in the chair next to jess' hospital bed. I held her hand waiting for her to open her eyes, but they never did.

It's been 6 hours since the accident. The guys have gone back to the house to have a shower, but I couldn't leave jess here alone. What if she wakes up when I'm not here? Jess means the world to me, and it kills me to see her hurt.

"I know you probably can't hear me, but I'm going to talk to you anyway.
Jess, I love you. I always have.
I was just too scared to tell you.
I am so sorry about daring you to jump off the rock. It's all my fault that you are in here."

"I get so jealous, when you are with Connor.
Because I'm the one who has always been there for you! Not Connor."

"I don't know what I would do without you.
You only had two more days until you went home, but me and the boys were going to invite you to stay with us, forever."

I squeezed her hand, hoping for her to squeeze it back, but she didn't.

"Jessica Rae Hayes, please! Open your eyes, squeeze my hand! Anything! Please?

Pleeeeaaaaasssee, wake up! Please! Please! I love you!
I love you!"

I sobbed uncontrollably into her chest.
It was then that I felt the tiniest squeeze on my hand, and her eyes flew open!

Jess' p.o.v.

I opened my eyes, where am I?

Why am I in the hospital?

Who is this boy holding my hand?

The strange boy leaned down and hugged me.
"I'm so glad your awake! I thought I was going to lose you. I love you, I always have and I always will. I'm sorry for making you jump. Please forgive..." I cut him off rudely.

"Who are you!?" I shouted as I pulled my hand away from his.

"You don't remember me..." He started crying and ran out of the room. As soon as he left I fell asleep.

4 hours later.

I woke up from my nap and saw the boy was still gone. I tried to remember him.

Come on, jess! You have to remember who he is! Don't break his heart, remember him?!

I kept digging. I concentrated so hard my head started to hurt. Sam?! My best friend?! I remember!
I pressed the button next to me and a nurse came rushing in.

I told her to get Sam quickly. She nodded than left. 5 minutes later Sam came running in.

"What is it jess?" Sam asked.
"Sam," is the only thing I said.
It's all I had to say. Tears sprung in both of our eyes. Not sad tears, tears of joy.
