My happy ending.

4 months later

Jess p.o.v

"Zoe can you help me do my makeup please," I ask Zoe who was sitting on my bed.
"Sure!" She said quickly.
Zoe came around earlier this morning with a box saying that Joe has a surprise for me and that I have to be ready by 12. So it's now 11 and I have no idea what to wear.
"Zoe, I have nothing to wear. Most of my good clothes are too small now that I have this." I reply pointing to my baby bump, "Do I dress fancy or casual?" I ask.
"Fancy, defiantly fancy," she replays smirking. Then she jumps up and hands me the box that she brought with her. "Here you go! This might help," she says cheekily.
I opened the box and gasped. It was beautiful.
Inside the box was a black and white dress, it was around knee length. Around the top it had white lace and the rest was a silky black material. It was really loose so it would fit my bump.
"Omg thankyou! It's beautiful!" I gushed.
"No problem, I knew you would have trouble finding something that fit and looks good," she beamed.
I went into the bathroom and got changed. It fit perfectly, it hugged what little curves I have left. And did my ass justice.
I walked out of the bathroom. And Zoe stood there mouth agape.
"Jess! You look hot!" She squeals.
Zoe quickly did my makeup and i put my shoes on just in time for the doorbell to ring.
I went and opened the door to a dashing looking Joe in a suit.
"Wow. Jess, you look.... Perfect." He tells me while planting a kiss on my nose. I smile and kiss his lips.
"Well you don't look so bad yourself, mister" I tease.
We walk to the car hand in hand and Zoe goes back to her apartment. I hop in the car and Joe makes me close my eyes. I close them without hesitation. I love surprises. soon I heard the car stop.
"You can open your eyes now" he whispers
I open my eyes and get out. We were at the park and there in front of me, was the most romantic picnic I had ever seen.
"Oh my gosh, Joe it's amazing!" I squeal while kissing him tenderly.
We walk over and sit down, Joe pours me a glass of champagne and I take a sip.
Later on, Joe stands up, so I stand up too.
"Jess I have something to ask you?" He whispers nervously.
"Yeah, what is it?" I ask.
Joe gets down on one née and pulls out a box. My hands cover my mouth and my eyes start watering.
"Jess, since I met you, I knew that you were who I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I knew that I was in love with you as soon as I saw you. And I know this is a bit soon but with little Abigail on the way I thought that this was a perfect time." He rubs my tummy. " Will you, Jessica Rae Hayes, marry me?" He asks.
"Yes! Yes yes yes!" I cry while he slips the ring on my finger and jumps up to hug me.
"Joe, I love you with all my heart and that will never change." I assure him.
" I love you too," he whispers.
My life may have had its ups and downs but I'm where I belong now , here. In the same pod as Joe. I found my other pea.
