Chapter 2

She saw the red and black hilt and sheath that she had only seen her parents bring out only a few times "Chiyoganemaru" she picked up the ancient sword and put it in its sheath then noticed a note she opened it and read it

"Dear my darling May,
             If you are reading this then that means your father has died and I've gone missing. Well I think you should know why. Well, its prophesied that a demon and a angel will mate and if they make a daughter, she will be the wife of Sparda. But, since Sparda mated with a human and had twins, Dante and Vergil, the daughter would have to go to one of the three. We wanted you to fight against Sparda, not be with him. That's why Dante has been around you for many years. You can trust him sweetie. Now, you will have to obtain my archangels Michael and Gabriel to be able to put up a good fight against Sparda. Don't worry about looking for me darling, just find my guns and kill Sparda. We both love you honey. Make mommy and daddy proud like you always have.

She clenched the letter tightly "mother... I have to find you no matter what!" She put the sword across her back then felt her heart skip a beat "oh!" She put her hand on her chest "w-what's happening.." she fell to her knees and her body tenses up "ah!" Her body pulsed and flashed to her devil form a few times then she fell unconscious with the sword in her hand

Dante felt the presence of a demon and ran upstairs after eating the last slice of pizza. He took out his guns and looked around "May?" He looked down at her then put his guns away and ran to her, kneeling down to her "May!" He moved strands of hair from her face "so... it was you that I sensed?" He picked her up bridal style and put the sword in her lap "your gonna be a lot of trouble aren't you?" He looked at her face then began to walk to his shop called, Devil May Cry.

-in his shop-
She woke up hours later and looked around "what the- where am I?" She saw that she was in a chair, in front of a desk. She stood up and looked around "is this... a store?"

"Looks like you finally woke up babe"

She turned to the voice, which was the man who saved her, Dante. He was standing next to her with only his pants and shoes on. He had a towel on his head as his hair was wet. Indicating that he just got out the shower.

Her face burned red as she noticed his long white/silver hair sticking to his face, his toned chest which was slightly dripping with water from his hair that shined in the sunlight. Knowing she had to look away, she couldn't turn away from him. His perfect body had her in a trance "oh my..." she spoke to herself as he took the towel and wrapped it around his neck

Dante noticed her starring at him and he smirked "see anything you like babe" he spoke in a seductive tone as he walked towards her

She came to and noticed he was getting closer to her "w-why are you coming closer?" She backed up but soon enough she found herself on a wall she looked around to find something to keep him back but by the time she found something, it was too late. He pinned her arms above her head and held her wrists with one hand "Aww, what's the rush babe? Why are you trying to run from me?"

"B-Because you don't have a shirt on!" She looked up at him but her eyes widened as his face was close to hers, his lips inches away from hers

Dante smiled "you must be a virgin then? Seeing as how your half angel and all. Your being a good girl aren't you May?"

"S-Shut up! Y-Your too close! Can you get away from me? And let my hands go!"

"Come on Dante. Let her go"

The two looked behind him and they noticed a beautiful blond haired lady who had her arms crossed and was looking at the ground

"Oh come on Trish. I was just teasing her for a bit" he let her hands go then went to his deck and sat in his chair, putting his feet up on the desk

Trish looked at May and smiled "good to see you all grown up May"

"Oh! I remember you! You came for Umbra and Luce. The ones my mother made!" Remembering what happened make her heart sink in sadness

"Yeah. And they are treating me well. I heard what happened to Enzo and Eliza. I'm sorry.." Trish had a worried look on her face as she spoke to May

May shook her head "it's alright Trish. I will find my mother-" she clenched her fists tightly, causing her to draw blood from her nails digging in her skin. Dark red energy formed around her "and kill sparda"

Trish and Dante were on alert since she didn't know how to control her power. Dante threw her sword at her which stopped her demonic powers from getting any higher

She snapped out of it then looked down at her bloody hands and watched as they slowly healed "What.... happened to my hands?" She looked up at Dante

He sighed "you almost wrecked up my shop. You thought about killing my old man and you almost released your demonic power. You need to control your anger May" he crossed his arms "your anger is something you never use so.. your fathers demonic half is taking your anger. So be careful-" he was interrupted by the sound of the phone that was for the shop. He picked it up "Devil May Cry" "What?! No! Don't come- ugh." He hung up the phone angrily

"What's wrong Dante?" May walked over to him

"Patty Lowell" Trish smiled

"Patty Lowell? Who's that?"
