I read this book a while ago and read many other books after so my apologies if the commentary is not the best.
Commentary:
WWX is the fox emperor and LWJ is the dragon emperor.
WWX and LWJ meeets when WWX forgets that he's the Emperor of the Fox Clan and while he's a mortal, he meets LWJ by mistaking him as a snake (when he's a dragon) and he cares for the snake. They pretty much fall in love. LWJ can't talk to him though so it's just WWX talking non-stop to the "snake".
Well, they fall in love once LWJ comes back as a human. Sometime later, WWX goes to the immortal world, but he gets mistreated since he's a mortal and mortals and immortals can't fall in love.
I think I need to stop before I spoil too much of this book. I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!
Btw, I've never watched the Chinese drama 'Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms' but it still made sense to me. AND if you have watched the drama, the author did state that they have chnaged bits of it so it isn't the same.
