The Two Jades of Lan are the only people who succeeded in becoming immortal. They find it as a curse though, since everyone they love eventually dies. Again and again for thousands of years.
BTW do you really think they're the only ones who achieved the immortal stage. There's also one other person but I'm not telling you.
Everyone in the story pretty much has the same fate as they did in the cultivation world. Only difference is that they're mortals.
They also need to solve a crime regarding murders in Nightless City and a casino and stuff. Yeah.
Lan Zhan's shower/ bathroom is to die for. A technology shower. Plays music. Temperature control pad and freaking disco lights?! Okay disco lights might be a bit too much BUT STILL
*The sex scene is HOT (Chapter 17)... Just saying.
