This is goodbye

"We can still exchange letters, so don't cry", I said to him while dragging the small luggage my mom asked me to bring. He was holding a volleyball in one hand, and a small orange cat keychain. I was smiling to him while he kept on staring at me with those glossy eyes, wet from his tears.

He wiped his eyes. "Says the one with a smiling mouth, wet eyes, and snot on her nose". I was flustered and quickly wiped my nose, blushing hard from the mention of snot.

He then said, "We'll see each other again right? By the time you see me again, you will be at the spectators' seats. Cheering for me when I play volleyball. While you're not here, I'm going to practice really hard. So make sure you come back, okay?" He flashes me his smile, making me smile too.

"Yeah, of course. So don't worry. Just don't forget to update each other with our lives", I said while snickering.

Suddenly, Mom's voice echoed calling for me while she was already inside the car. "Honey, let's go. Finish your goodbyes now."

"We'll see each other again, okay? So, I'll see you soon."

I then run to the car and hoisted myself into the passenger's seat at the back. The car starts up, and slowly moved to leave my former house and my childhood friend behind.

this is somehow(?) my first fanfic. it'll be really great if all of u bubble of joys can read and comment if needed. since this is the only one that im really pumped up to write from all the ideas, i will try my best to complete it. until then, i really appreciate all of you guys for reading and commenting.
