I loved the characterization in this story! The author had done a great job showing Percy as a small child. He wasn't overly mature or strong for his age, and he acted as a child of his maturity would. Though I only read a part of this story, I loved seeing his (Percy's) reactions and dialogue. He seemed very realistic.I adored his relationships with Crimson's staff. It felt as if he knew each of them for many years. In this aspect, I believe the author has done a wonderful job! There is not much to improve upon in this aspect. Well done!

The plot was extremely intriguing. The prologue really captured my interest—especially when none of the assassins' real name were revealed. I loved that touch of world-building when it came to the rankings, too. The author has done a wonderful job in building and creating a world. The plot seemed to develop slowly, but it wasn't too fast-paced, either. The killing off of Timothy, in the beginning, was a wonderful opener, and it could really drag a person in.
