(Sam's pov)

It was already 12:00pm, and I still had so much to do. My video was already running late, I had to edit the new Sam and Colby video, and I had a photo shoot in one hour. I was busy all week unpacking in my new apartment and setting stuff up to edit. I could feel my breathing start to slowly get faster. I took sharp inhales and exhales. Why did I have to have to have this now? I asked myself in my head. There's plenty of air up here. Although it was a small space. Great now my claustrophobia is kicking in. My knees started to feel shaky, and I was on the verge of tears.

(Colby's pov)

I decided to go over to Sam's apartment to see how the new video was coming along. Plus I wanted to ask if I could help, because it was technically my turn...I skipped last week because I had to film my video so I felt bad. I put on my shoes and walked over to Sam's apartment. I walked inside and didn't see anyone, so I assumed he was upstairs editing. I closed his door and walked further inside when I heard heavy breathing, like someone was struggling to breathe. I walked up the stairs to see Sam sitting in his computer chair still as a stone, but he looked tense.

"Hey!" I said. He jumped hard, almost falling out of his chair and he began to cry. "Woah woah woah woah woah, hey what's wrong?" I asked. He scooted farther away from me. His chest was rising and falling very fast, and he looked horrible. Beads of sweat were falling from his forehead. That's when I knew he was having an anxiety attack. I grabbed my water from my bag and handed it out to him.

"Hey Sammy it's me Colby, you're alright, your in your apartment upstairs with me okay. Nothing's going to happen to you okay. Can you look at me?" I asked. He looked up at me slowly. "Good, good job Sammy." I said.

"Just breathe in and out..." I told him.

"Colb..I...I...can't" he gasped.

"Shhhhhh, yes you can, your okay." I soothed. Sam felt his heartbeat go down slowly, and he could breathe a little bit better now. He took a sip of my water.

"Good, good" I said. Sam was still crying. I oopend my arms for him. "Come here Sammy." he crawled into my arms without hesitation and I rubbed my hand up and down his back. And telling him things such as he's okay, and that I'll protect him.

"Now can you tell me whats wrong?" I asked concerned, after he calmed down.

"Well my video is late and I still need to edit it, plus the Sam and Colby video. And I also have a photo shoot in like 30 minutes now..." He said in a raspy voice sore from the crying.

"Let me edit the videos Sam, I don't mind doing it for you. And where is your phone I'm going to cancel the photo shoot, you can do it tomorrow." I said.

"Fine, but I don't want you to feel pressured." Sam said looking down at the ground.

I lifted his chin up with my fingers so he looked at me. "Like I said I want to help." I told him. He simply nodded. I took his phone and texted the guy to rearrange it for tomorrow since something came up. And then I shut it off.

"Thank you for helping me." Sam said.

"No need to thank me." I replied.

"Yeah there is, I would have gotten worse if you hadn't shown up. So thank you so much." Sam stated. He hugged me again, and I hugged back. After about a minute we pulled away from each other. " So do you want to watch movies or something?" He asked me.

"Yeah sure lets go!" I exclaimed. We walked in his living room and sat down. After a couple of movies I felt something against my shoulder. I looked down to see Sam sleeping on my shoulder. I smiled. I'm so glad that he was okay again, it hurt me whenever my best friend was hurt. I made a promise on that day to protect Sam against anything and everything. Then soon later I myself also drifted off into sleep.
