Nobody knew. Nobody understood just how sad he was. They never saw his fake smiles, or the fake laughs he forced in videos. This was because he could fake it really well. Everyone liked Colby better. Negative thoughts swarmed Sam's mind.  "You're worthless, nobody cares about you." Sam was done with faking it though. He didn't care. So here he was in his apartment dressed in all black, sitting on the couch. Tears silently rolling down his face. That's when a knock was heard on his apartment door.

It was Colby. Not even he knew. He walked in, shutting the door behind him, and sat down next to Sam on the couch. Not noticing the tears rolling down his best friends cheeks, until he looked over.

"Hey, Sam? What's wrong?" With that Sam started full on crying. Colby instantly brought Sam into his arms, and rubbed his back lightly up and down.

"Just l-let me d-die!" Sam pleaded. Colby only held on tighter.

"What!? no! Sam I care about you, and love you so much! Colby said. "Why are you thinking like this?"

"Because I'm not worth it! Everyone likes you better. On every social media platform, I always see you. I rarely ever see me. So what's the point of being here?" Sam cried, burying his head further into Colby's chest.

"Well you know what? You're my favorite. And those people are blind to how amazing of a person you are. I'm not better than you. It's Sam and Colby. I wouldn't be here right now without you, in fact, I wouldn't be the person I am today without you. You're my other half, you're the other part of me." Colby replied. Sam stopped crying for a split second.

"Do you really mean that?" Sam asked him.  Pulling away.

"Yeah of course I do. I love you so much, with all my heart." Colby said. Cupping Sam's cheek with his hand, and rubbing small circles on his face with his thumb.

"I love you too." Sam said back. Leaning into Colby's touch.

"And Sam, I'm always here for you, if you need to, or want to talk. Just come to me, because I love seeing you happy, you deserve it. Now how about we do something just us today. Like watch a movie, since we have to stay inside due to the coronavirus." Colby said lifting up the mood a little.

"Sure, I'm down." Sam said. Colby stood up to get the remote, and resulted in tripping over his own feet. Sam burst out laughing.

"Are you okay?" He said still laughing. A real laugh.

"Yeah, I am. And that's the sound I love to hear." Colby smiled, and Sam smiled back.

Colby went back over to Sam, and sat down wrapping an arm around his shoulder. While Sam leaned into him. And for the first time in a while, Sam had hope.

Hi, sorry for not being as active on here. A lot of things have been going on lately. I'll try to post more since things are starting to settle down a little bit.❤️
