Chapter 7 - Decision

- Andy's POV -

"What if I say no?"
"I'll get over it after I fuck a lot of people. Not like I don't have a long ass line of other girls and boys who'd love to have sex with me. So what do you say? Yes or no?"

I bit my lip, trying my best to avoid Rye's eyes. It's not like I didn't want to have sex with him, in fact, I'd have loved to. But I didn't want to be just a one-night stand. I wanted to be his boyfriend, which I knew wouldn't happen after this. That's why I was hesitant.

"Can I... I need some time to think about this. Please." I said, finally looking into his eyes.
"Fine. You have 24 hours. Tommorrow is Friday so if you really want this, meet me here and we'll go to my place. If you decide you don't want to, text me. Give me your phone." he held out his hand and I fished my phone out of my back pocket and gave it to him. To my biggest surprise, he unlocked it without a struggle.

"How did you-"
"Before you even ask that question, I'd like to remind you of the fact that your password is my birthday." he interrupted me and alright, I'll give him that. "Here, that's my number. Don't text or call if you're just bored and want to chat with someone. Don't bother me with anything. If you're not coming tomorrow, no calling, just a quick text. Got it?" I nodded and took my phone back.
"I'll go now, if that's okay." I grabbed mine and Brook's backpack from the bench and waved at Rye before walking over to Brook who was kneeling next to a duck a few feet away. What the fuck?!

"Andy! Look! I've made a new friend!" he yelled when he saw me coming and he scared the bird so much it ran away. I couldn't help but laugh.

After me and Brook arrived to my house, he sat down at the dining table while I heated up two slices of pizza in the microwave and told Brook what Rye told me at the park.

"No shit! He thought about you while having sex?!" he laughed, almost falling off the chair. "Did he finish?"
"I don't know Brook! I didn't ask if he came while thinking about me!" I laughed as well.
"Okay and then what did he say?"
"Well he said he really wants to get rid of this problem and if I already want to have sex with him then we should uh..."
"FUCK NO! He wants to have sex?!"
"Quiet down Brook! We don't want the whole neighbourhood to know damn it!"
"Sorry..."

The microwave stopped and I took out the pizza to put it in front of Brook on the table. I sat down as well and we started eating.
"So he wants to have sex?" Brook asked again, this time a lot calmer. At least that's what he tried to look like.
"Yeah he does." I nodded.
"And what did you say?"
"I said I needed time to think about it. He said I have 24 hours to think about it. If I decide I don't want it, just text him and if I decide I want it, then I'll have to go back to the place we just met and we'll go to his place."
"And get down to buisness right away?"
"I guess so..." I said and blushed a little. God this was so embarassing.
"And do you know what you're going to say?"
"I have no idea... He said I'd just be a one-night stand and nothing else, I don't want that. But this is a once in a lifetime opportunity."

We sighed at the same time. After that we didn't really talk about Rye, we just ate. Then we went to my room to do our homework. During, I kept asking him about his night with Harper and after some time, he gave in.
"Fucking fine. Okay so... he bought me a drink, then we danced for a while-"
"How was it?"
"Well he can't really dance but neither can I, so it's okay." he laughed. "We stepped on each others' feet a few time so after a while we just kept in the same place after that and just like... grinded on each other. It was hot..."
I howled and I saw Brook start blushing.
"I started searching for you after some time and when I couldn't find you, I wanted to call but I saw your message. I told Harper and I told him I didn't want to stay without you. He said goodbye to everyone and he called an uber because he drank and didn't want to drive me like that. We went back to mine and he kissed me in the car before I got out..."
"Oh god he's so sweet!"
"Yes he really is. He invited me to another date and I said yes."
"Your life is like a cheezy romantic movie! This ain't fair!" I laughed.
"Your life is like a porn movie though. Wanna switch?" he wiggled his eyebrows.
"You're an idiot." I rolled my eyes and went back to my text book.

The day after, I was so nervous I could barely focus on anything. All I could think about was Rye and our deal. I only had a few hours to decide and I was still just processing what happened. It really was the worst thing.

When the bell rang and ended my last class, I was so nervous I was about to vomit. Luckily, I had my bestest friend, Brook by my side as always.
"You have half an hour left, that's plenty of time to figure things out!" he tried to cheer me up.
"Brook if I decide I don't want it then I really should text him right now so he won't come to the park and wait for me like an idiot. Or if I decide to do it then I should be heading to the park now. So no, I really don't have plenty of time."
"Look if you really can't decide that much then I'll solve this."

As we walked out of the school, he pulled out a coin from his wallet.
"Head yes, tails no." he said and threw ot up. He caught it and showed it to me. Tails...
"Then that's a no." he said quietly. I frowned.

No.

No it's not a no.

It can't be no.

"I'll go to the park." I said and turned on my heels, taking hurried steps towards the park.

I nearly ran there and when I arrived, I didn't see Rye anywhere. I checked the time.

Five more minutes...

I sat down on the bench I sat the other day and just looked straight to the ground. I didn't dare to look up, I was too scared to see no one around.

Three more minutes...

"Hey." I heard a quiet voice from above and I looked up. Rye was standing there in front of me. He looked stunning. I quickly stood up, eager to do whatever he told me to.
"H-hi..."
"So... Are you sure?"
"I honestly have no idea... But I couldn't say no." I smiled
"Okay, let's go to mine." he said and grabbed me by my wrist, pulling me out of the park.
