My life's about to end

when mum found out the news

I have lived a normal sort of life but its really hard knowing that you might die.

It is my 12th birthday and on that very day i go straight to hospital and take some tests. My mum said your gift today will be if your tests come back positive. i know she has something else planed as well. "hope conway we are ready for you know" the doctor said.

Mum smiled a kind of nervous smile i knew she was just trying to be postive but deep down inside i knew she was as nervous as i was. who wouldnt be nervous i was just finding out if i was gonna live another day or my whole life. i sat down on the hospital bed as the doctor pulled up a chair and told me to breath the gas in and count down from one as he put a bubble gum flavoured mask over my head "10 9 8 7 6 5 4 " and at that very moment i yawned and fell to sleep. The doctor explained what was happing to my mum but he told her nit to tell me.

my eyes opened after 1 hour my mum was rubbing my head and saying you are all better now. I felt the sudden wait of my shoulders lift and fly off i was so happy that it was over. I just didnt understand why i had to fall asleep so he could just tell my mum that.

After the hospital mum drove me to the shops and told me that i had 1000 dollars to spend on anything. she would have never normally done this so i knew something wasnt right but something cought the corner of my eye. it was my aunt lisa and cousin poppy.i started running towards her and hugged her. mum told us we could go around the shops and when we are finished to call her or aunt and find out where they are. mum and aunt lisa sat at a near by coffe table and started talking i knew they where talking about me.
It was a dead give away by the way they both smiled at me but not the kind of smile I wanted to ever see in my life.

I NEW MY LIFE WAS OVER!!!!

I tried so hard to convince my mum to tell me. It was know good. The doctor handed me a letter so I could go get some medicine for my condition. I read the letter and in big black bold letters was the word CANCER.

I looked at my mum and she started to cry I knew this was serious I knew I was gonna die. As soon as I got into the car my mum explained the whole thing of course I was only little so I didn't explain much. But the thing I remember most was when my mum told me to LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST.

So I did.
