Emily's P.O.V

"Mum do I have to be friends with her"

"Yes em she has cancer and is getting teased"

"But she's so weird mum she's bold and if I hang out with her I will have no friends as well"

"EMILY you are gonna be her friend and see the real her okay she is kind she's also pretty"

"FINE BUT WHEN I GET BULLIED IM BLAMING IT ON YOU"

I then slammed the door shut after I went storming out.

I couldn't BELIVE my own mum wanted me to get bullied.

Ring ring went my phone I new who it was I knew it was hope. I knew if I didn't answer it mum would never talk to me again but I knew if I did answer it everyone at school would never talk to me again.

I decided to answer it.

"Hello" I muttered

"Hi um your mum said to call this number"

I could tell she had been crying so I decided to be nice.

"Oh yeah I was wondering if you wanted to go to the mall later and then come back over for a sleepover ? "

"OMG yes that would be awesome where do you want to meet"
She asked me as if this had never happens to her before.

" I will get mum to pick you up at 1:00 "
Tomorrow after noon? "

We then said are good byes and I hang up I turned around to go tell mum but she was already standing behind me.

She heard the whole conversation I asked her if I did the right thing.

She said yes and for that I am gonna give you $200 to spend at the shops tomorrow.

hopes P.O.V

It was a long wait at the hospital after tears after more needles where jabbed in my arm to help the depression stop so my mum would get hurt again. I new there was just one thing to do call Emily I took me about 10 minutes of sitting with dads phone before I had the guts to call her.

After our conversation I was like the happiest person on earth we had arranged a shopping trip and a sleepover.

I was soo happy I went from depressed to the happiest person I had ever seen in my life.

When I walked back into the hospital the doctors all looked at me weirdly cause they had just been trying to cure my depression.

The next day I waited and waited hours went by but Emily still hasn't came I was just about to go back inside when a red car pulled up.

Emily hoped out of the front seat and said jump in. she apologised for being late she just lost track of time.

She sat next to me in the back her mum winked at me as I got inside she asked if I had everything and if I had enough money I got my wallet out of the front of my bag and looked inside I said I think I'm good. I looked at Emily her eyes went real big I asked if she just seen a ghost but she said no but I just saw heaven I laughed and said yeah I haven't gone to the shops in about five years so I've been saving.

As we stepped out side Emily said I have a surprise for you we went inside of the shopping mall and we went into a hair dresser they said do you have cancer I said yes. they told me to close my eyes so I did they asked Emily what colour she replied brown they started to do stuff to my forehead where my eyebrows used to be. they then started on my half eyelashes. Then my bold head I then realised what they where doing. I smiled after a while they told me to open my eyes I looked in a mirror and I started to cry I looked so pretty. I asked how much they wanted and they said it's free after all it's not you fault. I Hughes the hair dresser and then hugged Emily. I thanked her so much.

After we both got a new wardrobe we went back to Emily house her mum smiled at me and said you look gorgeous. I thanked her she asked if I liked pizza I said yes and she said okay then we will have pizza for diner. I had the pizza then after we spent the rest of the night together we slept I woke up to my mum calling my phone I answered she asked when will you need to be picked up I said 9:00 am she said okay will leave now I left a note for Emily with $100 dollars on it and said thank you so much I told her mum thank you for having me and walked out the front and hoped in my mums car she looked at me and said you look gorgeous I smiled and said thank you.
