"Holy shit." I groaned in pain as I woke up.

It was random sometimes. Hot searing pain everywhere, for hours and hours on end and I couldn't tell anyone. Well I could, i just didn't want on my hair about it.

Maybe I should tell someone I'd be locked on the room for hours until I was okay again.

I looked at my watch, four thirty in the morning.

Good, my sleep schedule is okay.

Eli was asleep still, the boy loved his sleep, I knew he'd wake up in a couple of hours, so I let him sleep while I fished for leftover painkillers in my bag.

Usually, fifteen were enough to not kill me but make the pain go away slightly.

I usually stuffed four in my mouth and swallowed with water.

I was midway through when the door opened.

"Are you on drugs?" Harry asked me.

I moaned in pain, "No."

He slapped the medicine off my hands and the pills were thrown everywhere.

I writhed in pain, "Shit, shit get the pills now."

"Oh my god, what's wrong with you?" Harry realized, grabbing the pills desperately.

When he managed to get all of them I swallowed them and laid down on the floor, hoping it passed.

Harry lay with me, orienting me to breathe and open my eyes.

"Is Eli asleep?" He forgot the question. Good.

"Yes, he's curled up and asleep. Do you feel okay?"

"I'm fine, thanks, you can leave now. I'm going to finish sleeping."

"You're welcome." He shrugged, "Yell if anything."

I shrugged myself and climbed back into bed.

It was now eight in the morning and Eli was awake. My pain had stopped and I was ready to come out of the room.

I held Eli on my hip, he had his pacifier on his lips and a sleepy face.

I don't understand how he can sleep so much.

"I'm hungy." He whispered through his pacifier.

I nodded, "Kay kay, hon. We'll get you some pancakes, how about that?"

He nodded excitedly and laid his head on my shoulder.

Oh, the easier times when I could just boil some potatoes, carrots and green beans and put them in the blender and he'd be done.

Now I have to cut up food.

I remember when I was about six, and my older sisters were seven, and my mother was there, cutting up the meat on the table in tiny pieces, and I'd think that it was stupid because I could just cut it up myself.

My mother was pleased and gave me chocolates.

So much had changed since then.

Harry was watching television when we went down.

"Oh!" Eli squirmed in my arms, "Oh I wanna watch TV!"

Next thing I knew he had fallen out if my arms.

He looked up at me with wide eyes.

I was waiting for him to start crying.

He opened his mouth just as his blue eyes watered.
