it had been so long.
you don't know how long. but you craved the outside. the sun on your skin, the wind in your hair. you wanted to feel the rain mess up your hair- but you wouldn't mind. you'd laugh it off. you'd give anything to just be outside.
you thought of how much you used to enjoy the smell of the air after a night of heavy rain- a distinct smell that you wished would drift through the window into your home.
not that you wanted to leave tendou. but maybe you could go somewhere... together.
tendou had been so sweet recently. you knew that he only ever hurt you when you did something really really bad. like how you wouldn't let him kill shirabu.
it was inhumane to leave him in the state he was now, but you liked the company. when tendou was at school, you didn't feel alone in his house- you knew shirabu was nearby. well, whatever was left of him.
you also felt a small spark of hope when you looked at shirabu. maybe he would leave here. but that thought would disappear when you saw tendou's face in your mind.
i don't want them to punish my boyfriend. i love him.
so you would talk to shirabu daily, scurrying back to the room you shared with tendou when you heard the redhead get home. he wouldn't like it if he knew you and shirabu were close.
you no longer wanted to leave- you didn't want to get tendou in any trouble. he's just a really caring boyfriend- and everything that happened to semi and shirabu is your fault anyways. you understand that now.
