New Years Eve

Hey I'm Riley Roberson and I live with my best friend Gabriella Montez and her mom because my parents died when I was Three but now me and Gabby are juniors in high school spending our new year at a ski lodge reading

Riley's POV

 Miss Montez saw the girls reading "Girls, it's New Year's Eve. Enough reading" (taking the girls' books) Gabriella said " Oh but, mom we're almost done"  " yeah miss Montez" I said "the teen party? I've laid both your best clothes. come get ready" Miss Montez said, "can we have our books back?" Gabby asked Her mom hands us back our books Me and Gabby said "thank you" "come on" gabby's mom said 

 In the lodge gym

Mrs. Bolton enters the gym to find her son and husband busy playing basketball "keep working left, Troy. Got a guard in the championship game we're expectin'. you'll torch 'em!" coach Bolton said to his son "by going left?" Troy asked his dad "yeah. he looks middle, you take it downtown" coach said "OK, like this?" troy goes left and nails the shot "whoo! that's it, man. sweet, I wanna see that in the game" coach said to his son "Boys?" Mrs. Bolton calls out "oh you'll see that in the game, don't worry about me," Troy said to his dad "did we really fly all this way to play more basketball?" Mrs. Bolton asked troy and his dad looked at each other "yeah" they both said "it's the last night of vacation. the party, remember?" Mrs. Bolton said spinning "right, the party. the party. New years eve." coach said "troy, they have a kids party downstairs in the freestyle club," Troy's mom told him "kid's party?" Troy asked "young adults. now go, shower up." his mom told him Troy takes the ball from his dad "come on,  one more." he asked his mom Mrs. Bolton sighed, "last one" troy said, "real quick" coach said, Mrs. Bolton relents and troy nails the shot "there we go. that's the way to end it" Troy told his dad

Freestyle club Riley's POV

Me and Gabby enter in the party "howdy ladies" a kid said, me and her giggled at the kid and found a place to sit Gabby read when I just watched the singers "all right! how about that for a couple of snowboarders?" the host said to the crowd I clapped for the pair "yeah! who's gonna rock the house next? huh?" the host said I looked around and one of the spotlights stop on me and a boy "ha-ha! Ho-Ho!" the host said "I can't sing. No, you go." the boy said "and you! yeah, come on." the host said to me taking my hand "look I don't sing. I can't sing. No, guys" the boy said not wanting to sing "hey you know what? someday you guys might thank me for this. ... or not" the host said to me and the boy
