*Y/N'S POV*
I strolled down the stairs and got onto the floor below, where the cubicles were. One of the women looked at me, got up, and grabbed my arms, restraining me.
"Hey! What's the big idea?!" I squirmed around, trying to break free of her grip.
"What are you doing out of your cell?" She asked. Connor came down and stopped her.
"He's with me, you may release him." He said.
"And why should I? This isn't even your sector. You should know that males aren't allowed around SCP-166. You should also know why she's here." The woman said, her eyes looking down at me. She pushed me over to Connor.
"I know... It was a tragedy." He looked down as well.
"What are you two talking about?" I asked, curious about this specific tragedy.
"We are currently in Site-19, the largest Foundation facility currently in operation, housing hundreds of Safe- and Euclid-class anomalies. I used to work at Site-17 which was a major Foundation facility primarily focused on the containment and study of low-risk humanoid entities. I was one of the guards there. Most of the staff were medical and psychiatric professionals. Iris Thompson and The Teenage Succubus were some of the entities that were held there." Connor explained.
"So... 105 and 166.... Site-17 was for the more safer, intelligent humanoid entities?" I asked.
"Correct" The woman stated.
"Then, someone fucked up the pipe works and started pumping toxic gas throughout the facility. Everyone had to evacuate and take the SCP's with them to this Site. It was pretty hard getting 166 here."
"I bet..."
"I was the last one out of the facility... Carrying Iris in my arms. She was already unconscious from the gas. Since she was a very safe specimen, I took her here myself."
"That's heroic..."
"It really does suck, seeing comrades die when you try to rescue something more important because you're forced to do so." He started to think a bit as the woman and I started talking about random things about the facility.
*Flashback: Site-17. 5 Years Ago. Connor's POV.*
I was about 10 years in the corporation at the time. I was in my late 30's It wasn't the worst job on the planet, but I sure as hell dealt with it. I was stationed at Site-17, where most of the safer, humanoid entities were held.. I felt bad for some of these entities, especially the one I was assigned to guard, SCP-105. She had the ability to take pictures with her old Polaroid camera, and then manipulate the objects inside the image in real time. She looked about 17-18 years old, blonde hair, and blue eyes. I liked to call her Iris Thompson, as that was her name before this organization gave her a damn number. I would normally get the chance to speak with her when I was on break. We kind of got to know each other for a while and understood each other's motives and life goals. I grew a soft spot for her, I pitied her situation. Hell, I was old enough to be her father... She was probably the safest and the kindest SCP in this Site. I hated that she was captive. She may have the powers to control objects in images, but I could tell she didn't mean any harm. She talked about how her powers affected her as a child. It was sad.. To think someone like this exists, and for people to be scared of her.... damn... Her childhood must've been hard. I wish she didn't have to deal with staying here under constant surveillance and inside a closed chamber. She told me that she wanted to see the sunlight again... It's been a long time for her since she's seen it. Then, just then, I had a plan.. I was going to free Iris from this place...
