[DYORENE'S POV]
I was having an ordinary day, before 'it' struck. My laptop was open, currently using a browser on the Internet. I was not inside, and I think it was probably the worst yet best decision I've ever made. I was on the balcony, thinking about my to-do-list for today.
I'm Canadian-Japanese. My father's Canadian, while my mother's Japanese. I lived in Canada for 5 years, then went to Japan for school, with my mother and aunt, studying.
Then, it happened.
Green gas filled the oxygen around me.
Suddenly, everything went black.
