Matts pov:
"HERE!" A faint voice yelled.
I lifted my head slowly, looking around the room through my one eye that wasn't completely closed. My face was on the floor, the legs of the chair in the air. I wasn't sitting on the chair the chair was sitting on me.
"Carter?" I whispered.
The door swung open and a man with a vest and gun came walking through, several others followed. A slightly slimmer figure ran through the door.
"Matt." It whispered.
I groaned and closed my eyes.

"Let's get.... Now!" A voice yelled.
"Inserting..." Another said before a sharp pain hit my inner elbow.
I winced and opened my eyes a little to see a man and two women.
"It's okay... Help you." One woman said.
My eyes got heavier and I let myself fall back asleep.

"Do you remember what happened?" The doctor asked.
I shook my head lightly, and he wrote my response on a piece of paper.
"When can I see carter?" I asked, now annoyed.
He sighed," you need to finish answering these questions."
"I already told you I don't feel pain anymore and I don't remember anything, now can i see Carter?"
He gave me a 'look', "I'll get him up here."
I smiled as he got up and left the room. That doctor was very annoying, he asked me the same thing 3 times. I listened closely to the murmur of voices outside my door, to see if I could hear Carters.
I leaned my head back on the hospital bed trying to relax the head ache that was slowly emerging. Then the door opened, but it was just the nurse.
I sighed, and closed my eyes. The door opened and closed again.
I heard footsteps walking towards me, but it was probably the nurse.
Fingers soon intertwined with mine and i shot my eyes open to see carter.
"Jesus Carter! You scared me."
He chuckled and started rubbing his thumb over the back of my hand.
"I love you, you know that?" He says quietly.
"Yeah."
"You bitch say it back!" He said Pushing my shoulder a bit.
"I love you too Carter." I chuckled.
He laid his head down on my chest and started humming a song.
"I'll keep you safe from now on."
