Chapter 11

whY DOeS IT SAY 2k WHEN I LOOK AT MY STORY WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?? is watTPAD PLAYINN WITH MY EMOTIONs?????

OTHER THEN THAT catt/marter isn't really gonna start that quickly because I feel like with other stories it just like.

They see each other think they are perfect confess their love for each other kiss and then bam relationship. And that's all in like 5 chapters.

Matts POV:

When he whispered in my ear I couldn't help but shiver. god how I wanted to take him right then and there.

I'm currently still laying down with carter it's 10 on and I think he's gonna stay the night again.

"Hey carter?" I asked rubbing a circle on his chest.

He hummed in response.

"Are you gonna stay?"

He lifted his head a little bit to make eye contact with me.

"Does my little baby cake want me to stay?" He said in a baby voice while pinching my cheeks.

"Shut up carter I'll kick you out." I slapped his hands off my cheeks.

"Ouch no way to treat your future husband babe."

He keeps saying these things that make my heart flutter.

"Is carter flirting with me?" I gasped trying to make it dramatic.

"No I'm playing around Silly! But yeah I'll stay. Only if you agree to stay in my arms until I say you can leave."

I thought about it for a second, "okay." I smiled at the thought of being in his arms all day.

He started pulling softly on my hair messing it up, while I continued drawing figures on his chest.

Eventually I fell asleep in his arms happier than ever. I'm actually really glad I told him about my past. I felt like that was a part of me I was keeping him away from.

Next time I'm going to hide my box of razors better. Maybe under my mattress or something.

I will get a razor tomorrow but if I ever feel the urge to cut I'll call carter first. I want to stop cutting not only for me but for carter.

"Matt." I heard carter whisper.

"Yeah?"

"You know I hate you. You're a worthless piece of shit that deserves to die." He said louder as he sat up.

"W-what?" I was more confused than anything. I thought he cared about me.

"Hah only an idiot would care about you. You don't deserve to be loved." He harshly spat at me as he put on his shoes and laced them.

He got up and made his way to the door.

"Oh and do the world a favor and kill yourself." He said as he closed The door.

"FINE I WILL!" I screamed. I ran to my bathroom to find a sword on the sink as if it was waiting for me.

Wait. That wasn't there before.

Wait.

Is this a dream?

The walls slowly started turning completely white as everything inside the bathroom disappeared.

I looked into the distance seeing only white.

Not this dream again! I hate this.

"HELP!" I yelled hoping someone would hear.

I crouched down pulling at my hair.

"CARTER WAKE ME UP!" I cried

"PLEASE JUST WAKE ME UP!"

I got up and started walking into the white. "C-CARTER WAKE ME UP!" I yelled as I started running.

"MATT!"

"CARTER?!" I started picking up my pace and ran towards the voice.

"MATT!"

"MATT WAKE UP YOU'RE HAVING A BAD DREAM." I felt someone shake me as I slowly started to wake up.

I quickly shot up trying to catch my breath. I looked around and saw my room.

"Matt are you okay?!" A worried carter asked turning me to face him.

"Carter get away from me!" I spat at him as I stood up slowly backing away from him.

"Matt," he said slowly as he got up, "it was a dream!" He said trying to come closer to me.

"No it wasn't! I'm a worthless piece of shit that doesn't deserve to live!" I covered my ears trying to block out the noise.

"Matt Come here and hug me everything is going to be okay."

I wasn't paying Attention as he engulfed me into a hug. I cried loudly into his shoulder occasionally biting it.

He started rubbing my back and whispering "Matt you're worth everything to me" and "Matt I love you" in my ear.

"N-no you don't!" He hurt me in my dream who's to say he wouldn't do that in real life?!

"Promise me you'll never leave me carter." I whispered.

"What?"

"PROMISE ME YOU'LL NEVER LEAVE ME!" I yelled at him punching his chest.

"Matt calm down I promise!" He grabbed my arms putting them to my side and hugging me again.

"What time is it?" I sniffled and rubbed my eyes.

"8 am. Are you okay now?"

I shook my head and made my way to the bed with carter. I'm actually calming down.

I crawled on the bed and laid on my side facing carter and he laid down with me.

"D-did I mention I have these bad dreams when I'm at home?" I lightly laughed trying to forget about what happened a couple minutes ago.

"Don't worry I'll be here to wake you up and take care of you." He rubbed his hand up and down my side.

"You're so beautiful you know that?" He lifted his hand to my face to caress my cheek with his thumb.

"T-thanks. You too" he chuckled at my response and kept caressing my cheek.

I moved closer to him so he was actually hugging me. The contact made me feel save. Carter made me feel save.

"You're not freaked out by me?" I asked breaking the 2 minutes of silence.

"No."

Silence fell upon the room again.

I was slowly getting blinded by the light as it came in through the curtains.

"Carter do you have any issues you've been keeping from me?"

"Well there is this one thing but it's nothing."

"Tell me."

He sighed sitting up, brining me with him.

He sat me on his lap facing him as he started his story, " it's not really a big deal but......."
