Chapter 10
I woke up alone. No one was in the house.
I looked everywhere. And then in the kitchen I found a note.

Sorry to leave you so early in the morning, something important has come up.

That was enough to make me go cold . Many questions ran through my head: where's he gone? Why didn't he tell me about it? Why'd he leave at 5:30 in the morning? Why did he carry me back to the cellar? What the hell is going on?

*12 hours later*
I was sitting in the kitchen fiddling with a piece of paper. I knotted it unknotted it and on and on until it broke. As soon as it did I heard the door open. I heard Ryder's voice.

But I also heard an unfamiliar one, an unfamiliar male voice. He sounded maybe a year older than Ryder or possibly the same age but this didn't make a difference to me he was still unknown.

I didn't know what to do so I ran back to the cellar and hid. About a minute later I heard a knock on the cellar door.
"Just a moment" I shouted. But they came straight in.
"Hi beautiful I've heard a lot about you." No no no no no!!!!!! Ugh this guy makes me want to be sick. He has dark drown hair and bright blue eyes. He's tall and has that rugby style body. I know that my friends at school would literally faint if they ever met him but I know I'd like to slap him.
"Please don't call me that" I replied gritting my teeth. Ryder came to my side to take my hand, but I pulled it away.
"What's wrong Mimi are you okay?" Ryder asked me, he looked hurt. But not as hurt as I was for him leaving me and not telling me what , why,who, and where he was going.
" oh nothing it's fine leave me alone all day with no explanation it's fine" I didn't look at him.

"Look missy don't talk to him like that he was doing something nice for you ! Not that you deserve it" is he lying or telling the truth? I really can't tell.

Ryder took my hand again and looked at me telling me something. So I decided to go with it.

"This is Sam, he's a nice guy but very protective to his friends."
"I guessed so" was my reply.

*35 mins later*

Sam and I are getting along and talking like old friends.
"I need to go shopping" Ryder said totally out of the blue.
"Kk" I replied he rolled his eyes I know he hated it when people said kk so I did it to wind him up; it worked.

"Sam you stay here with her"

"Later babe" I say turning to him and waving good bye.
As soon As Ryder's gone Sam turns to me. The comfortable atmosphere disappears.
He smiles at me an evil grin.
"This should be fun babe"
