Kokichi picked up his pace. Himiko clung onto him tightly, and time seemed to slow down around the two. Like nothing could interrupt their time together. With each stride he took, Kokichi only clung onto Yumeno's legs tighter. He liked the feeling of her arms around his neck. Like she really cared about him. He could already feel a place in his heart being made for her. She was a lot like him, in reality. Maybe they could help each other out?
"Eheheheh!! Woooooooooo!!!" Himiko shouted down the halls. "I'm on top of the wooooooorlddd!!"
Kokichi snickered lightly at her childish comments. He felt... free. He was beginning to forget about Shuichi, even if only for a short amount of time. He was making his friend happy. That's all he wanted.
"The hell are those two doing..?" Maki questioned to herself.
Stopping off at the dining hall, Ouma let Himiko hop off of his back.
"Can we please do that again sometime?" Himiko asked Kokichi in a carefree manner.
"Sure, why not? I needed a good run like that, I suppose." Kokichi replied, hands on his hips.
"Yippee!" Himiko raised her arms in the air, jogging into the cafeteria.
"Wait for me! You need my money, idiot!" Kokichi chased after her.
After a nice chat in the hall, the two decided to part ways for the day, making their way back to their rooms.
Ouma's P.O.V
She's pretty nice. And I did have fun today. Can I really trust her, though? Hm, well, she is a lot like me. We have pretty similar issues and weaknesses. Ugh, my freaking back... I need to be more active... but I really can't be bothered.
I looked over to my whiteboard. Pictures of my acquaintances were placed underneath categories.
My eyes landed upon Yumeno's picture. I contemplated the decision for a moment, then made up my mind. Placing her underneath the "Trustworthy?" category, I decided to take a nap to take my mind off of stressful thoughts.
"Neeheehee~... I really am a sucker for falling for people."
*Ding dong, Bing bong!*
Ugh... Who's there??
"Yeaahhhh, coming, coming..."
*Click.*
"Huh? Yumeno? You woke me up, stupid head."
"*Sniffle, sniffle...* " Is she crying??
"Heyyyy... What's wrong, silly?"
Narrator's P.O.V
"T-Tenko... Tenko's moving cities... a-and... I dunno what I'll do without her..." Himiko rubbed her eyes, trying desperately to seem less upset.
"There, there..." Kokichi looked to his left, then to his right. Nobody. "Why don't you come in..?" Himiko silently did so, Kokichi closing the door behind themselves.
"Nyeh, sorry... I didn't mean to wake you up or anything." Himiko seated herself on Kokichi's couch, knees to her chest.
"Nah, it's all good. It's probably getting late anyways. So, uh, why's Tenko leavin' ya behind?" He grabbed a bottle of Panta from the fridge and sat next to her.
"H-Her training... She's gotta go to a special dojo or something... In Tokyo..."
"Tokyo?? Damn." Kokichi took a swig of the sickly purple drink. "That's further than I thought."
"Yeah... It's... It's really far... *hic*..."
The young magician wouldn't stop crying. Kokichi felt really bad, as he didn't know what to do. Mustering up the courage to do so, he placed a hand on her shoulder, making Himiko jump slightly.
