"I get what it feels like. I'm honestly pretty homesick at the moment. I miss my organisation. But y'know what?"
"W...What?" Himiko looked at him with big, sad eyes.
"I'll get to see them again. And I can guarantee you, you'll get to see Tenko again, too." He smiled at her reassuringly.
"N...Nyeh!" Himiko wrapped her arms around Kokichi's waist, still sobbing lightly. Her head rested against his lap.
"H-Hey..." He looked down at her.
"Alright, alright. C'mere." Kokichi helped her sit up and gave her a proper hug. They cuddled for a while. Ouma let her vent and sob, all the while cradling her slightly and listening as best he could. He was never a great people person, but it seemed to be doing the trick. After a good 20 minutes, Himiko began to fall asleep.
"Want me to take you back to your room?" Kokichi asked.
"mnn... no... just let me... sleep..." Himiko rested in his lap, snoring slightly. Kokichi placed his empty bottle of Panta on the coffee table in front of him, and fell asleep too with a small chuckle.
*Ding dong, Bing bong!*
Somebody was at the door. Kokichi, in a half asleep state, answered it lazily.
"Yeah... come in--"
*BAM!* The door flew open with incredible force, flying into Kokichi and squishing him against the wall.
"Himiko!! You degenerate... You kidnapped her!!! Give her back!!!" Classic Tenko.
"Ugh... I-I didn't... She was the one who came here in the first place..." Kokichi took a deep breath, emerging from behind the door and preparing to be his usual self. "But you slammed the door into me anyways..! You're... so... MEAAAAAAAAANNN!!!" Crocodile tears poured from his puppy eyes, then he immediately grinned, feeling "better".
"Gnhhh... wha..?" Himiko rubbed her eyes as she slowly sat up, awakened from her slumber.
"Himiko!! Come on! Get out of this degenerate's room. I need to talk to you."
"B-But I..." Himiko was clearly disappointed because of her sudden departure from Kokichi's warm, comfy couch.
"Let's go!" Tenko proudly marched out of his room, nearly dragging Himiko on the floor as she did so. On the way out, she gave Kokichi a threatening death glare, to which he simply chuckled.
Later on in the day he stumbled across a moving truck. He saw Himiko and Tenko shoving furniture into it. So she really was moving... Kokichi felt at ease, though, seeing Himiko be determined like that. He heard Tenko's laughter when the young mage would complain about things being too heavy. They seemed to be working together like friends.
Returning to his dorm room, he heard a shout.
"Hey, degenerate! Mind helping out?!" Tenko looked up to his apartment floor, clearly mad at him for not offering.
"Eh, but I don't really want to. You two seem to be having fun anyways. And aren't I some 'degenerate male'? Why would you want me around?" Kokichi backchatted her witfully.
"Because Himiko wants you around." She huffed enviously, hands on her hips.
Kokichi was surprised to hear that. After a moment of contemplation, he decided to help out.
"Well of couuurse I wanna help out! Legend has it, I'm super strong." Kokichi stated with a prideful face.
"Fine! Let's see who's stronger out of the two of us. Aikido masters love the competition!" She bragged, clearly trying to impress Himiko. Kokichi raised his eyebrow to this statement. This'll be interesting.
Himiko's laughter resonated throughout the yard as Kokichi failed miserably to match up to Tenko's strength.
